Carol I just want to say I love watching and learning from you. You are authentic and I so much appreciate how you try things out in front of us and then problem solve if needed. You are wonderful!
Aw, Robin, thank you so much. That's very kind.
That flower is so cool and pretty! Thank you for showing us how simple they are to make.
You are very welcome. Thank you.
Lovely! I love your flower brooch and the buttons. I love buttons. I have a nice collection sitting in a cupboard, and now I know what to do with some of them. 😊💖
Oh that's great! I love buttons too, especially the ornate ones. Have fun making your brooches. Thank you.
I’m so happy to see brooches are coming back…I’ve so many that I just love!
I’m seeking recessed shank buttons as I’ve started to make rings with them. Nice to see an alternative option. 😉
Oooh, that's a good idea, Marjorie. I might have to steal it! Thank you for sharing.
@@The_Stylish_Maker I’d love to see what you come up with!
Of course, Marjorie!@@marjoriecook7556
Thank you for those wonderful ideas! They are beautiful! I too appreciate the way you make things and along the way you may run into a problem and show different ways to solve them! Love your ideas!
Thank you so much Susan. I do think that showing the problems I run into helps you to avoid them should you decide to make a project.
🎉🎉❤🎉 another winner thank you
Thank you so much.
You know we could be great friends. We like the same colors and jewelry. 😊
Haha, that's why you love my jewellery! 😀

Always fun! Thanks.
Thank you. I had fun making them too.
Always inspiring with your ideas.
Thank you so much, Dianne.
Ah the wonderful uses for a hot glue gun! Seriously, how did crafters ever cope before they were invented?! I think the pink sparkly geometric one is my favourite
Thank you so much, Lexi. I wonder that too, even though I hate using the hot glue, it's a necessity. I love that one too.
Hi Carol! The brochures are wonderful and easy! Although the flower one is way too large for me! Thank you for your kind for tutorials
Thank you, Charisse. You could easily find a smaller flower - I agree this is a little oversized but I do love it!
What a lovely statement flower! 🌸 I’ll try it this week! I have the backpiece with safety pin and gule gun!🤩🥰Just found your channel last weekend!
Bye from 🇸🇪
Hello, Annika from New Zealand. Have fun making your brooches. They are surprisingly fun to wear as well as to make.
Thank you for sharing.
You are very welcome. Thank you.
I love your creativity, your awesome 👏 😊
Thank you so much, Phyllis. Glad you enjoyed this one.
Hi Carol. I would love to watch you make a large flower brooche. 😊
Hi Rose Marie, did you watch the video?
@@The_Stylish_Maker I didn't find it.
@@rosemariehumbert8234 this video that your commenting on is the one where I made the flower brooch.
Thank you SO MUCH for your awesome videos, ideas and instruction! I Love the crafts AND your accent too of course! (my Mum was from NSW) God Bless You! ;-)
I'm from New Zealand (not Australian) but understand the confusion. I was in Australia a couple of weeks ago and I was thinking how different our accents are but of course that's just because we hear ours all the time. Thank you so much. Glad you liked this one.
Sorry, I should have been more specific! One of my mum's brothers is married to a cool lady from New Zealand, so I've got family in both. But yes, there is a big difference in the accents, at least if you listen that is. @@The_Stylish_Maker
Ha ha, no worries. I wasn't offended at all. Glad you have a cool NZ Aunt!@@bjscloset
Great video ❤
Thank you, Rhonda!!
Hi, I bought 2 buttons that looked like a diamond ring. I cut the back off and put resin to a ring blank . Looked like a big diamond ring. Ppl were starring at it. Gave it to a young girl who likes the bling look. She loved it. Hope all is well.
That's a great idea, Chris. Thank you for sharing that.
Thanks
You're welcome, Deborah.
Love Love these ! E6000 or E7000 and a few drops of Gorilla hot glue sticks for your gun and nothing will ever move. The hot glue is just to keep it still while the E6000 is curing. You'll Love it ! Really enjoying your videos Thank You 😊. Oh I Love buttons also I have a collection t vintage/antique buttons I adore but I can't seem to create with them. I just Love running my fingers through them and looking at them. I also and have Antique Marbles Love them also . You probably would also.
Oh I totally get that. I have things in my stash that just sit there taunting me. I love them so much that I can't decide what to make with them. I do use E6000 but I didn't have any on hand when I made these. Mine had gone hard which seems to happen very quickly with the E6000. These are holding firm and haven't fallen apart. Thank you.
Lovely cannot w8 to do these.
Thank you Maria. I'm so pleased you liked them. They were such fun to make.
Hello Carol! I love your channel and the pieces you make are fantastic. Can you do a video (or point me to one), about where you buy your tools; Amazon and Walmart have let me down.
Hi Rachel, thank you so much. That's a hard one because I buy them in all different places. I always put a link in the description box to a blog post with links for the tools and supplies: Here's a couple of videos to get you on your way:

Thank you Carol!
Hallo Carol, I am amazed... just a question...is there a specific reason why you use a glue gun and not E 6000 glue? Rgds
Hi René, great question. No, you could use either. I used the hot glue gun because I didn't have any E6000 on hand. E6000 has a really strong hold but the hot glue sets quicker. You could actually mix the two together if you wanted, that would give you a quicker set with a stronger hold.
Hi Carol I think I’ve asked you this before but how in the world do you double strand a 5 mm bead on a stretch bracelet I can’t find a needle that will go through it twice and I’m using the the elastic crystalline 0.8 that you recommended off of Amazon. What can you do to reinforce a stretch bracelet when you’re using such small beads Like a 5 mm bead
Hi Rhonda, Have you tried using the big eye needle or a collapsible eye needle? You can also try a piece of tiger tail folded in half. I hope that helps. Are you a member of my UA-cam group. I'd love to see what you're doing so I can answer you better as you seem to having lots of trouble with this. If you were a member of the Jewellery Junkies group we could discuss this on a zoom call.
Hi Carol yes I’ll try anything at this point lol. Yeah the holes are so small I thought on your valentine video maybe it was you said to get the 0.8 so I’ll look for the 0.6 see what I can do with that but I’m just about ready just not to use the small beads anymore been on the hunt for the real big hole beads they’re hard to fine. Thanks again have a great day
I don't use beads with exceptionally large holes. Hopefully you can find what you're looking for. I also do private consultations via Zoom if you need individual help. www.affordablejewellerysupplies.co.nz/products/jewellery-consultation-with-carol-karl
Hey Carol I have use the big eye needle but I don’t think I’ve tried to collapsible needle can you give me a sight as to where I can get those I’ll try anything I’ve got so many different types of needles it’s not even funny lol and so many different size elastic cord I am so confused at this point
@@rhondalovett8538 Here's the collapsible eye needle. amzn.to/49qiyRs Here's the elastic that I use - 0.6mm amzn.to/4bPLunQ
