Am I the only one who nows watches YT perfumer reviewers knowing they actually don't know what they're talking about because of Aaron and his professional knowledge about fragrances? I really appreciate his reviews more than anyone else on UA-cam
People give their opinion on what they smell. How is that wrong? It's like saying someone is wrong because they say they are going wear a coat because it's cold outside.
@@victorrubio9568 It’s not that they’re wrong, but they think owning a huge collection and being able to read off note breakdowns makes them experts.
I do not know how many other yt reviewers that make perfume for a living. I’m very lucky to work full time creating art out of fragrance raw materials. So my insight is going to be completely different. I know the real cost of a fragrance. I’m always trying to remember that people use my reviews to work out how to spend there money. It’s quite a responsibility and one I take seriously. Money is hard to come by
@@flightgravity7483 I see your point but I think I'm an expert on what I smell. I think the olfactory and gustation sense are encoded very subjectively by our brains. I don't smell a lot of the notes some people smell. Maybe my olfactory palette isn't very evolved but that what's I love about fragrances.
@@victorrubio9568 Oh of course, we all know what we like. But I think reviewers should be a little more responsible in how they give information to their subscribers. It often feels more like you’re in a department store having a sale pushed on you than getting an honest opinion. I always try to smell anything before I buy it, but a lot of the fragrance community puts their trust in reviewers to guide them towards spending money wisely and will often blind buy.

I’m sorry my friend. This was filmed around a period when I was stressed and very anxious. So my mental health was poor. Thankfully I’m way past a certain period.

Prada Black is one of the best designer currently out there and it really gets a lot of compliments. At this point its one of the few I would consider rebuying even though most my collection is niche.
I recently got this one for Christmas, I heard supposedly it was reformulated any take on this?
@@popocatepetl6062 everyone uses "reformulation" way too quickly. I haven't heard anything and I've tried newer bottles and found it to perform the same

I have two things to say: First I just bought this today..been hearing a lot of good things about it and decided to pick it up. I'm completely pleased and excited to wear this one. I have Carbon which was my signature scent but this Black is incredible! Second I have to say that Aaron made me check YT everyday just to hear and see his review's. So professional but welcoming and relaxing. Your voice is soothing and commands the ear without being demanding! I love you brother and love your sincere and honest reviews! Don't ever stop!

I love the way you do the arm finger flickering thing in the beginning it almost gives you a sense of your noses looking for the different notes

I’ve been watching Aaron’s channel for the last 4 days, and I must say; the hand language is definitely fenomenal! (subscribed)
I wore this one today. I get people who say this is an evening scent but I think it is a nice fall winter all day scent. Dry down is amazing.
I own 100+ fragrances but this one has something a lot of women love. My wife litteraly gets weak in the knees when she smells this one on me. Got compliments from a lot of females and even males. I don't know what it is but it's special. It's my number 1 fragrance.

Can I just say that I love your voice? Your voice is so soothing, gentle, and relaxing. If I could commission a bedtime story from you, I totally would. Haha
I LOOOOOVE this cologne. This is the only EDP out of the whole luna rosa line. There’s 6 and they are all EDT’s. It’s so simple. It’s very light but, it last all day and creates a bubble around you. I also wear this to bed it’s very comforting.

Yes I like to wear it to bed. I don’t go nose blind to it and it’s a very warm and comfortable smell.

@@carlito7863 Longevity for me is literally around 12 hours, you can wear this fragrance in any season and for any occasion! It shines the most in the warmer months. It's light and airy so it will leave a trail behind!

One of my most favorite Scents Prada Luna Rosa Black
I believe you have the original luna rossa in this video. The note break down you listed is for the original. I'd love to hear a review on luna rossa black as well. I love the og luna rossa and carbon. Just picked up black today. I'd say it's a love as well. Awesome reviews man. Keep it up.
Wow you described it perfectly without knowing correct notes, I'm truly impressed! Prada Black is simple but women tend to love it which is surprising honestly, because it's not your typical blue fragrance
I always rely on my nose. Rather then my dyslexia. That’s why I don’t do much research before a review

I appreciate the technical insight you bring to this,, so much that I rarely watch any other "youtubers" for information on this topic any more. Thank you and keep it coming please. I bought Prada L'homme on impulse last summer and it's been my favourite "safe" fragrance since then. This one (Luna Rossa Black) is -to me- very similar but a bit darker and sweeter. Agree with your mark, but might even give it a 9

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME VIDEO
The Prada Luna Rossa line (have not smelled carbon yet) has a distinct baby powder type accord. If the sound of baby powder is not appealing then test before buying. In Luna Rossa Sport the baby powder type accord is converted into the essence of a kind of sweet tobacco with the introduction of a hay note along with the coumarin. That one I really like for that reason.
the original Luna Rossa is one of my alltime favourite, you should give that a try too, very likeable scent

Ive always stayed with luna rossa in this line for last 10 years clean and fresh for work. Also have prada l'homme and now will get prada luna rossa black after this review. Thx
If you like L'Homme from Prada, try out a sample of Dior Homme Intense. I feel its the Nighttime and more masculine version of L'Homme.
Hello Aaron it’s nice that you always show us the inter-workings in how a perfume master thinks I know that you’re busy I would really really appreciate if you can give your top five designers parfumes that you want to wear.
Ive used Prada Black for a while now and I remember sampling countless of others before finding this one. I wanted one thats not as strong and a little sweet and this immediately caught my attention. Once I bought it and started to used it, it started to smell more peppery and strong which i didnt like but i then realized that the next day, my clothes would smell like how I first remembered it. Ive gotten a few compliments but now I dont know if they are smelling what im smelling hahaha

@@AaronTerenceHughes Awesome. My dad always told me, if he has to pay for it, he's getting it done how he wanted it. If I wanted it my way, I had to pay for it, or learn how to do it myself. Since I was only 14, I couldn't work to pay for it, so I learned how to do it myself. LoL. Been doing it my way ever since, I'm turning 40 in 10 days.

I can tell you have been struggling with your mental health in some of the last reviews Aaron. I also have struggled a lot lately as I have had my heart broken. Fell in love with Prada fragrances this year. I own Carbon, L'Homme, and I smelt this the other day and was pleased once more. It is great, reminds me a bit of Midnight in Paris. It's powdery and sweet.
Someone told me this smells like tires and burnt popcorn and I couldn't see how they got that out of this cologne. It smells nothing like that to me.

Ever smelled Givenchy PI ?
Yeah I picked this up and at first was not particularly a fan. I wore it out and women close their eyes and swoon when when they smell it. It’s seductive AF. Out of 50 fragrances including Aventus and many high priced fragrances. This is my one of my favorite of all time. It smells simple, sweet and appealing. Women love it. It’s seductive. They lean in and want to get close. It’s the perfect date fragrance and signature worthy.
could you wear it in hot weather?
@@amunra_ it’s not very hot where I live but I wear it year round. I have to not wear it sometimes even when I want to because I’m halfway through my 4th bottle. I’ve been rotating in Luna Rosa Carbon and enjoying that one too. It’s better for hot weather but works anytime of year.

It stayed on my gfs pillow for 3 days, and it was from me i did not sprayed directly on it, and for me it lasts for 6-8 hours but as skin scent cuz im also darker skined
Hey Aaron, I've realized that you often rub the fragrance on your arm, doesn't it destroy the fragrance with the different notes? Some sprayers leave a wet dot on the skin I'd like to rub to dry it but I'm afraid I'm gonna change the fragrance then

Hi Aaron. Been trying a few various samples lately and keep getting a minty vibe even though that notes isn't listed. Is there a commonly used chemical that gives off a minty smell that overpowers lots of other notes?

About Prada LRB, are there any differences between the version created with PUIG and the one after the agreement with L'Oreal? I read somewhere that it had a negative impact. They say it used to be a spectacular perfume and now it smells like burnt pencil. Does it always smell good?

This is an ides just throwing it out there what if you make an artistic line witch are the fragrance based on your taste that u have done so far and then make another line that’s for other people like u said how you are adapting it to other people’s taste I don’t want you to change your entire fragrances just based on others taste cuz I think your taste and the way you make your fragrances are gorgeous but I’m pretty sure your not the type of person to just change all of them like that so maybe having multiple lines like that may be a good idea and I hope u have an amazing day Aaron I love your content :)

Hey Aaron, hopefully you’ll see this because Luna Rossa Black is being discontinued and it’s a sad day for me because it’s a signature scent for me.
It gives me a sweet, vanilla, peppery burnt rubber smell and I still haven’t found any replacement for it.
You seem to be on point with the notes, what would you recommend to look for in a fragrance if I like the mentioned notes?
Is it the angelica that gives it a burnt rubber smell?

What do you suggest people can do to increase the projection and longevity of a fragrance. I've got this Prada Black and the longevity is appalling in my opinion.
That's the regular Luna Rossa notes breakdown you're reading, but the sample is the Black flanker, because you smelled it correctly. So, the review is not wrong, you can leave it, hahaha.
