I have a 5-year-old male chihuahua that has a bladder stone in his penis just as you shown in your picture. I had to take pretty boy to the vet two times within 6 months to drain the blood and urine out and give him four or five shots of dehydration and infection. What is the average price for surgery on the bladder? Thank you so much for your informative video. I called a vet clinic to ask if the doctor does bladder surgery on a dog and the person I talked to said she did not know it all depends on what type of surgery. I told her to do surgery on the bladder and remove a couple stones. I don't want to go all the way up there waste my time spend money on a doctor visit and then a few hundred dollars on exams blood test and all that other stuff and then doctor says, sorry I cannot do the surgery here you have to take him somewhere else.
Your looking at no less than 3 thousand. Find out exactly what type of stone they are. How big they are. If they are too big they will have to be removed. If they are just a bunch of small stones, they can be dissolved and pass. Figure out your dogs diet you are most likly feeding food that is way high in oxalate. Unless you know the exact type of stone you can't cure it. Even then the surgery is a bandaid at best. 1 tbs of honey mixed with 1 tbs of apple cider vinigar (organic with the mother) This will help the bladder infection and increase the ph of the urine. But this only works if they are the low ph stones. Or soft calcium stones, not the Struvite stones. You can also try 1/4 cup of green tea steep for 15 mins, mixed with 1/8th TSP of baking soda. This will increase your dogs urine PH and help dissolve the stones. Best of luck to you and I hope your dog pulls through. With the right help and diet the dog can overcome this.
So I’m here for myself not my dog or cat. However, this I has been legit the best video in my search for help, yet! 😝🥰
1 minute 32 seconds in video i realise max is not a son of a dad but a dog.
