Love the experimental camera angles - a the one screen text is fun and helpful too. It can help you avoid VO or a funky mic setup. On the ground I don’t like the color way of this setup. But in the air backlit it’s quite handsome.
I think that the Bandit is a little more performance oriented with better boosting and pop and the Evo SLS is a little more beginner friendly. Aluula Evo is quicker turning. All great kites just a different feel.
Not really sure what you mean about horizontal pull. For jumping or water starting? The Nexus 4 and Enduro V5 are the benchmark for the three strut do everything category of kites. The Bandit v17 is right there with them with it being more focused on flat water freestyle with a more performance feel and ride. The Nexus 4 and Enduro v5 are a little more versatile multi sport kites in our opinion.
@ interesting, good insights thank you. I ment, that with the 12m Bandit it is very hard keeping and holding the edge before a jump because it pulls to Lee that much. Where as the 7m feels for me completely different, with a to soft construction and not enough power. Model year 2021 or 2022. At least that was what I thought when I tested those kites from a friend. Whereas I never felt that problems and that big of a change in the sizes (which were what I mentioned very different but both not nice) with other brands like f.e. Duotone (evo and dice) or core (XR 7, XR pro, nexus 3).
Very stable and controlled. Good pop. Need to pull the deposed strap 3” to get the tune right for unhooked. You can also lengthen the back lines with the line adjusters in the bar floats.
Oh yeah we totally botched this self launch, but we want to show reality. We set up for success with nothing downwind but water so on the failed launch the kite just went into the water and we water launched it. Not sure the weight of the brainchild 12m or the neo but the 9m is just under 6 lbs which is pretty light for a kite. The 9m reedin brainchild is 5.2 lbs which is really light for a kite.
Lovin the Imperator custom in this colour 👍🏼👍🏼

We are working on some mics for Nuz so we don't have this issue anymore!
Love these reviews!
What gloves are you using?
Great review! How do you recon does it hold up agains an EVO SLS or EVO dlab? Best to you

Very unprofessional launch ….☝️☝️what’s the weight of a 12 m bandit ?? Is it lighter then a d lab Neo ?

Weight example with Harlem Thrive using same weld construction - lighter than Aluula ones.
Ugliest kite of all time
😂
Come on, it isn’t bad. Okay taste is obviously different. But it isn’t my favorite either.
