1227 Restoration replacing Anglepoise cable grommets.

Rewiring a Anglepoise Lamp Ron in the Relight Lamps workshop shows how to replace worn and missing cable grommets.
The parts used are linked below to our spare parts shop.
The new slim line, 3 core braided flex fits in the Anglepoise 1227 arm with no problem and allows the use of easy fit grommets.

Hi Ron Thank you for your instructive videos. Could you make one showing the complete procedure for reassembling the lamp parts? I would like to see the replacement of the small piece of metal that sits in the top end of the upper arm immediately behind the lamp shade. Also how to thread the end of the flex through the shaft of the shade bracket as its a very tight fit.

Hello, I bought this lamp with the original Crabtree bulb holder (looks like new) but without cables.
Is it safety enough to keep the original Crabtree bulb holde and make the earth on midle spring (as I saw on ebay)?
