i have had the new hazardous skates for a week with the new shift max , same old problem blade loose after one tournament. may true should sell their skate without the holders to save time for switching
Just got new custom svh and having the same problem(wore them for a few hours) On top of a not great fitting skate. Honestly have been using my cat 9 with a bauer holder and steel. Feel like the svh was a waste of money. And the support from true has been lacklustre
yes you can. I watched I think IW Hockey channel talk about this and it is 100% able to do so. But you can still get SHIFT DLC blades for the older holder. I have a pair of SVHs that have the original SHIFT and Im about to pick up a set of DLCs for that holder. I would check that first
Hi! I noticed that the runners quickly become dull on impure natural ice and then can no longer be ridden in the ice rink. I play ice hockey in the ice rink once a week and go on natural ice about twice a week. To avoid having to grind weekly I bought a second pair of runners. So now I want to change the runners depending on the ice surface. Are the holders designed for this? The blue plastic triggers on the shift MAX holders seem rather unstable to me.
What? are joking? ALL the manufacturers quick change blade holders are designed to do exactly this, handle thousands of cycles in and out swapping blades. Players have been carrying multiple blades on them for years. What do you think the pros do? TUUK holders use a plastic trigger, CCM XS uses a plastic knob to turn a screw.

Was the problem resolved?

can you grind down that back piece of steel on new runners so it fits in the old shift holder?

They will break at the small cut out at the heel, should be a warranty issue
I cant get the blades out for the life of me. Very frustrating
