This was the start of their comeback concert after a year and a half hiatus, during which they appointed a new bassist. This was the first time they've played live with the new member - Fami. Although this is one of their older songs it features the bass a lot so was ideal for introducing her.
This was Fami’s (the new bass player) first ever concert with Lovebites, and first large concert of any kind. She's 21 years old! Fami - the nuclear power cell of smiles, joy and energy! Notice Fami slaps those two bass solo sections (which the original bass player, Miho, played finger style) and the bass/drum section after the solos is a joy... Asami's look of support and delight, followed by a thumbs up to Fami. Not only did Lovebites make the perfect choice, Fami BELONGS in Lovebites. The energy is radiating from all members. Haruna's playing is incredible here and her drums sound amazing and of course M&M kill on guitar as you'd expect... but notice Miyako seems invigorated!!! She's moving around, head-banging even, more so than I ever remember seeing. "We're back!" Hell yes, you are! GO! Oh, and Asami sounds better than EVER!
@@metalzonereactions The Blue Ray for this show, from March, will be out August 23rd. From what I heard, they were awesome all the way through. If this opening act was any indication, I can't wait to see the rest.

At 2:27 the craziness starts. First Haruna, that at 2:30 makes a surprise move when she instead of hitting the snare draws the sticks against her and delay that hit creating a kind of vacuum that reminds me of a start of a rollercoaster. Then at 2:40 she starts to kill her cymbals. Then at 2:49 Midori comes in with her Egyptian sound, and Haruna are still killing her cymbals. At 3:09 Midori starts to shred and then Haruna goes over to fast beating the snare. Poor snare. After that it is Miyakos turn to solo. And then it is time for Fami. It is also a kind of solo. And when Fami is killing it Asami is lookin happy and proud and gives her a thumbs up and Fami almost explodes in a smile. I mean this sequence is a classic. I would not be surprised if this goes to history. And all girls are involved, even if Asami is not singing.
