Love this band! Best metal band in the world!
A few years ago I really thought Rock N Roll would die out in the next 10 years. Now I am convinced that salvation is coming from the Japanese women heavy metal bands. Rejoice old rockers and metalheads of the world that there are still young people who enjoy hand-played rock and metal music. If you look at the charts in America and Europe you know what I mean.🤘 🤘
Good reaction to the best metal band on the planet
You can preorder the new live material if you didn’t already 😉This song was exact the 8th song I heard from them. I had never heard of them before till a music buddy asked to join him for a concert. Who’s playing?? Some new J metal band. It was the start of their European tour just over 5 years ago in the Netherlands. A mere 1000 people. From the first second I was lost. I remember telling my friend when they slow down. You guessed it, it was at the start of song 8, this song. The best 15 euro (without the beer costs) ever spent. In over a month seeing them on their home soil !! This time a little longer then 30 minutes by train. Can’t wait to see them 🎸🤘🎸
I love Miyako's rhythm guitar during the first part of Midori's solo.
私もです!何故か聞き入ってしまいます。
WE ... ARE ... BACK
... GO ...
😁
Welcome back to Lovebites, no doubt they're the best, begin reaching USA, amazing band, thank you reacting Lovebites, cool hat. 👍👍💗, carry on.
Our pleasure! and thank you for watching
Thanks for reacting to Lovebites again!!!😊❤
Our pleasure!
We've seen this song performed live a few times, but I think this is the highest-energy version yet.
Hey guys.
Knocking on Heaven's Gate is the new concert DVD ,scheduled to be released August 23. This is the first video they have released from that so far. Fami's live debut on bass, and she fits right in.🤘🤘 Couldn't tell she only joined in October if you didn't already know. The song is older, from their 1st album, Awakening From Abyss in 2017.
Suggest , for more LOVEBITES, Break the Wall or Thunder Vengeance. Both were played at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020.
🔥LOVEBITES🐺PERFECTION🔥
THE BEST👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Bloody Lovebites 🐺 I love'em
Been a hot minute so great to see you back with Lovebites! What a performance considering they'd been on hiatus for 2yrs. They sounded so tight, but no surprise there, as that's their calling card. Too bad your mates didn't get to experience this. I recommend A Frozen Serenade live 2021 ua-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/v-deo.html for all four of you. After watching this, think you'll really appreciate what they do in Frozen Serenade...definitely a WOW moment. Very similar to Swan Song in that it's not a song but a MASTERFUL PERFORMANCE...and it's LIVE!! Great react!
This is one of Lovebites' thrashier songs while still maintaining the speed, so it's primarily thrash/speed-power which the ladies have blended and made it into their own unique sound. In addition to Iron Maiden (not so much of a gallop here), I would add some early Metallica, Slayer or Anthrax vibes into the mix. BTW, "The Hammer of Wrath" is one of 18 tracks from the LIVE blue-ray/DVD LP called "Knockin' at Heaven's Gate" that'll be officially released on 23 August. The blue-ray/DVD contains the LIVE show in Tokyo back in 11 March, which was also the new bassist's (Fami's) LIVE debut with Lovebites.
Soo good
great singer great musicians
Beautiful ladies
Well, Fami is definitely a star now. Haruna is just flat out killing it!!
There is a guitar in a shop Tokyo that was built by Midori, but not for sale. Midori attended a vocational school to learn to build guitar.
They are better than Iron Maiden and Dragon Force plus anybody else you can think of.
Bass solo's, MIHO fingering the bass, FAMI thumping the bass.....🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
True that. 🎉
*solos
I enjoy their songs, lot of energy and technically very skilled!
Lovebites has stated that Iron Maiden was a strong influence - Miho , their original bass player said so. Lovebites did tour with Dragonforce but they've never said DF was an influence. (Although personally I feel that Herman Li did influence Midori a little bit. Ever since that tour in 2019, she began adding the whammy bar squeals to some of their more recent songs - the way Herman Li does.)
Guitars are: Miyako - Dean; Midori - ESP. This show was also the live premiere of the new bassist Fami! They do have a couple music videos out with Fami ["Judgement Day"; "Stand and Deliver (Shoot 'em Down)"], but this was the first live performance for Fami, filmed just this past March. I could just feel her excitement, with her nonstop beaming grin! Also love Asami's epic intro words: "WE ... ARE ... BAAAACK!"
I saw the premiere. Fami killing the bass. She's fitting in nicely. This song is burning up YT. I wonder how many songs will pre-released songs they will have before the release of Knockin' on Heaven's Gate on Aug 23, 2023. BTW your wife is a babe.
M&M super shredder. Fami was fit to blast. Haruna powerfull slam and fast drumming more crisp now. Asami's higher note seems easy now.. imo
I agree - Asami's high notes sound much more effortless than in the past.
Midori ESP Miyako Dean
2 small drummers that sound big are Haruna of Lovebites and Pau (Paulina) of The Warning
Pau is 5'6" so she's not that small to be honest. She does sound big though.
Pau hits hard but is very basic, she has nowhere near the chops Haruna has.
@@ChadTheDragonLord Then Ale would be at least 5’10’‘. Don’t think so. Saw them very close last month. They look quite short …
@@stand.and.deliver.5 I found that measurement from a website.

👍 Great reaction. They rock. I love female vocals. I see you do a number of reactions. Perhaps give BABYMETAL a looksee. 🖖 ❤
Great suggestion!
@@2ndhandsoulsmusic Subscribed. No two BABYMETAL song are the same. The foxhole is very deep. 🦊 🖖 ❤
👏👏👏👏👏
No, Miyako does not play a PRS. Miyako is a Dean artist, here she plays a Dean Icon faded denim USA with Fluence Fishman pickups
My mistake. Dean also makes great instruments as well. I personally play mostly Schecter guitars but every now and then I'll use my Jackson soloist on a tune or two.
Word on the street is that Dean is about to go under. I wouldn't be surprised then to see Miyako go to Gibson.
@@guitarzen5999 Well, Miyako has already a lot of Gibson guitars, but Gibson doesn’t do a lot of endorsements, I think one of the big Japanese brands will endorse her, they have the money to bring in one of the big Japanese guitar stars! But i hope that Dean stays in business, they are legendary in the Metal world! 🤘
@@obud3777 Dean has been poorly run for several years now but it would be sad to see them go away.
great reaction ]:)
Thank you!! 😁
Lovebites turned up their amps to 11 on this one.
🌹👸🎶
Haruna = C4 Nice comparison!
Thank you for your reaction to LOVEBITES.
The first live videos of the following songs are now available.

@@MegaDog555 LOL, reply button stuck?

High as a kite 😂
The drummers is called pocket nuke
"little Big Engine" (band-given nickname)
19 tr old bassist, 22yr old drummer, damn baby. They're talented.
With respect, more accurately, bassist Fami turned 21 June 1st, her first ever performance in front of a LIVE audience (!) A former UA-camr only.
Drummer Haruna about 30, considering what age she began playing (13) and year she entered professional band membership & performance. (Destrose)
Miyako, guitar & piano, 33 April 5th; Midori, guitar & fitness, 35 May 28th.
Asami (aka Awesami & Asamni* &:-) is Ageless (!)
Yes, they are quite talented, composition, lyrics, arrangement & performance.
Quite friendly & down-to-Earth on social media too.
Looking forward to meeting them in person !
(* misprint on some shirts!) all ttbomk.
Bruce used to be able to keep up, probably not now though.
I luv Bruce, Him and Dio are my all time favorite metal vocalist but I don't know if Bruce can keep up the high note with Asami.
Bruce would ave a hard time fe tru😂
their way faster than Maiden
they’re
🤘🏽LOVEBITES RULES🤘🏽
Yesterday I tried to listen to Iron Maiden after this one. Got quite a bit boring in direct comparison to the 🐺
Yeah that's the Lovebites effect. I've noticed the same thing whenever I go back and listen to my old favorite bands - they all lack something in comparison to Lovebites - they sound slow and almost boring now.
今日は真ん中のおじさんいないのですね。😊
He was too tired from work today. 😊
Your volume was way down I had a little trouble hearing you talking
My ears almost exploded when the song started. LOL.
Bruce cannot keep up. In his prime maybe, but now, 100% no way.
Same problem I have with all these kawaii bands, love the music, but they need to get a metal singer.
What‘s the definition of a metal singer? There many different kinds of vocalists. And not everyone is a „singer“. Also Asami is definitely not the kawaii type!
@@stand.and.deliver.5 They certainly fit the classic definition of kawaii with their current singer. Yes, lots of different types of vocalists just as there are lots of different types of metal. And if you are going to play heavy hard-core metal, you need a singer with a lot more grit and depth (maybe the wrong word, best I can do though) in their voice.
@@alancarter41 I can see why people would say that, I normally would not like her approach but in the context of this music I think it seems to fit well
nope
Why not?
Why not?
@@axemonkey Would be awesome if they got a singer. Sorry, her vocals aren't metal, same as all these female kawaii bands.
I miss the other guy , guy with hat is annoying , keeps playing air guitar and way to animated , dork city , bro chill and just Bob your head
