      Tbh this comment is interesting. I see your point in that the test was stupid because it displayed the message that feminism is just basic human decency. Although I agree that the test is unnecessary and fails to test the true qualities of feminists, I believe the test represents how simple feminism really is, equality. I know the media and gen z has portrayed this man-hating representation of modern feminism. However, feminism is really just the fight for equal rights for men and women. This includes way more complicated topics that are obviously not seriously tested in the test from the video but anyone who wants women to be treated with the same human rights and respect as everyone else in the world should consider themselves feminists.
      It’s unfortunate that the media has developed a stigma around modern feminism that makes it seem like we’re all selfish, man-hating weirdos but feminists who fight for real change and legit want people to be equals are all around. I don’t think anyone should be ashamed of feminists as a whole. I have to admit there are some a-hole “feminists” out there but tbh I dont consider them real feminists since a lot of the time they are not fighting for equal values. They may just use their “feminism” as an excuse to delegitimize men while simultaneously de crediting themselves and making all the other feminists look bad.
      All in all, don’t be afraid of feminists, don’t be afraid to be a feminist, and don’t forget to try to learn about the things you may not understand.

      @@Endangerous I totally hear what you're saying and agree that Feminism today isn't what it was. That said, I would fit the criteria of what it is to be an abolitionist, but I don't call myself one because the term is not valuable in the modern context. The good forms of Feminism achieved their goals and so no longer hold active value. This is why this abhorrent new version, born of raw Marxism, is what Feminism *is* now. I'm not happy about it, but this is where we're at.

      Exactly. I hate how society today and especially liberals straight up do not believe in the basic fundamental idea of the American justice system of "innocent until proven guilty". If a girl accuses a guy of sexual assault, people shouldn't immediately just take a side. They should stay neutral until all the facts and evidence have been laid out and proven to be true or false. Leftists and insane radical feminists think that people should just "believe all women" which is insanely messed up and dangerous. Though I do focus on a lot of male issues because I am passionate about them, and because they don’t get as much spot light bc Feminism has become the norm and promoted by pop culture. But I also respect people who are more passionate about women’s issues because those aren’t automatically opposing concepts.

      Liberal here is not just in regards to law but also to abortion on demand, euthanasia, porn, prostitution, etc.

A good thing because if they were the same minus internal plumbing and external appearance, then gender differences are unimportant. Which is why feminists and gender ideologues have arrived at an unsurprising agreement about human nature.

      I've seen it happen to at least two men I know. I'll keep it fairly family friendly, but in one of the cases, the girl walked up to the guy, stuck her hand down his pants, and led him by the "nose" to a basement game room. Whereupon the pool table was used for a different manner of indoor sport than designed.
      The next day, she cries rape. Weird, because if the very loud, apparently enthusiastic participants (we had to turn the music up), not to mention the trail of discarded clothing wasn't a clue, it should have been. In her embarrassment, it was easier for her to claim rape, than it was to admit she had consensual sex on a gaming table. And she suffered no repercussions for lying.

    The trouble these days is that people have forgotten about the middle ground. The world tries to force you into either black or white, but you shouldn't let it. It's okay to be in the middle ground. I had a professor not long ago who was a former marine and was the advisor to our conservative club and was religious, and he said himself that the solution to many of lifes problems lies in the middle. When 2 extremes don't satisfy, look for another-better way.

    I've worked at many different places since 1979.
    I have never seen any proof that any of the women that worked at any of these companies were payed any less than any man.
    Where are these companies that have a "man pay scale" and a "woman pay scale"?
    If women are in fact payed less, and these companies do in fact engage in this horrible behavior, and they get away with this illegal behavior, then why aren't there more women employed by companies that want to save money on labor costs?
    This sounds like a conspiracy theory to me.

      As far as I know it's illegal to pay women less than men for doing the same job. I'm pretty sure that it's been that way since the 70's.

      Its been debunked because when they say "wage gap" they are referring to examples where women make a little less because they worked less overtime or took unpaid leave or something.

    • @keurfonluu7434

      It's not a conspiracy, it's statistics manipulation, incorrect use of statistics to push your agenda. In average, women are paid less than men, that's a fact. But, that average is calculated regardless of the job and is biased by the other fact that, somehow, women are more likely to work a less paying job than men. For instance, we all know that tech industry pays big bucks, yet have you seen a CS class? Most students are male. Studies have shown that for the same job, the pay gap is small (about 3%).

    • @oakwhelie
      @oakwhelie 2 роки тому +2

      @@keurfonluu7434 maternity leave also have an impact on pay gap, since they earn less during maternity leave, and in countries with very long maternity leave that could last up to 3 years, the women ended up losing some of their job skills and have to relearn some stuff, got replaced by someone else or the company simply moved on to other things

    • @keurfonluu7434
      @keurfonluu7434 2 роки тому +1

      @@oakwhelie as I said, for the same position within the same company, the pay gap is about 3%. The pay gap still exist but it's far from the 20-25% the media are trying to make us believe.

    Omg I’m the same. I cared so little about girly stuff my mum at 12 signed me up for a deportment class to learn about self care, how to eat politely and walk properly. 😂 At the time I hated it so badly but now I’m 30 and I still use those skills in some social situations!

      Same here lol, except that my mom did try to make sure I felt comfortable as a girl, and even that I felt pretty. Obviously she didn’t want me to be vain, so she spent more time making sure I was well behaved and smart, but she didn’t want to risk making me feel really ugly because of comparing myself to other girls. My two sisters are girly, I am very much not 😂 being pretty just doesn’t matter that much to me, other than looking presentable when I have to.

    Re: clothing women wear. As I've grown older I definitely have changed my opinion on this. No we should not tell women (or men for that matter) that they can wear whatever they want without issue/judgement/backlash/consequences. Clothing says a lot about ourselves and our culture and our morals. If you walk out of your house with barely any clothing on, expect that you will encounter both positive and negative feedback because of that. You are putting your entire body on show like a billboard, you are advertising your skin and sexuality and you *know* it. So don't be surprised when that creates a reaction. We are free to do what we want, we are not free from consequences.
    We also need to understand the loosening of morals re: dress, fashion, sexuality is why we are in the cultural meltdown we are currently in. Dress is tied to morality whether we like it or not and when you say as a culture that we are fine with ppl walking around in scanty clothing, we end up with bdsm in parades in front of kids. Sometimes the "slippery slope fallacy" is not a fallacy. Bring back healthy levels of shame - it's a normal human corrective behavior in society.

    'I believe women can have as much emotional strength as men'
    What is 'emotional strength'? Being able to suppress your emotions? Is that even a strength in the long term? Maybe emotional stability would be a better term? And even then, any answer to the question is a massive generalization and there are going to be exceptions. Can SOME women be as emotionally stable as SOME men? Of course. And SOME men can be more emotionally stable than SOME women. The same applies in reverse. SOME women out there are more emotionally stable than SOME men.
