I'd honestly rather have a GTR than a Ferrari. I could take it to a track as well as drive it daily. Owning one (considering you don't really need more than two seats in your ride anyway) would save up space in my garage.

I'd only take a 430 over a GT-R if the 430 was manual. Can't beat the feel of a gated stick shifter. If it's an automatic, then fuck the Ferrari. I'll choose the GT-R.

It would ultimately come down to the track and driver. They are both great cars and definitely have some amazing engineering that went into them making them what we know today.

But recently early gen r35 (with only 60k km) just got sold for $30-$35k at japanese auction which makes it almost the same price as a nice conditon jzx100 chaser/mark 2 or even other 90s japanese cars. That's why I'm thinking to just learn driving skills through modern cars instead of old cars like r35s, gt86s, or brzs or even 350z, etc.... fr it's hard being this generation of car enthusiast 😂 That's also why i don't see why people really spending $200k+ on a stock 320hp r34 gtr. DK's ae86 which has 220hp can absolutely beat it easy on the gunsai mountain pass. Like you said, lightweight car+high revving engine+total balance= 👌
