He took her engagement year from her - the bridal showers, the dress shopping, the spa appointments with her best friends, the engagement party, rehearsal dinner... dreaming of HER day, having the specific flowers (and everything else) that she had hoped for from childhood... he made every decision, every choice, and put her in a position of such intense peer pressure that she could hardly have said "no." Her wedding experience, start to finish, lasted less than 30 minutes and was entirely out of her control. I imagine they've made a bundle off the viral video, and he owes her, frankly... anything she wants, because a vow renewal - even with all the trappings of an original wedding - can't replace what she lost. All that said, it was an amazing grand gesture and I'm very happy to hear that they're doing well.

I agree with what Renee said!!! Usually the guy has a pretty decent idea that she would more than likely say yes. Especially if you've been together for 3yrs and have gone on a vacation together (and most likely that vacation wouldn't be your first. I know everyone is different but for me, if I've been with someone that long he would know how I felt and if I had any concerns in our relationship and I'd make sure that he wouldn't have to question or ever doubt how I felt about him. I enjoyed the proposal, but I thought that her boyfriend shouldn't have rushed so much in getting married to her the exactly same day. She didn't have the choice of her wedding dress, more friends and relatives of her choice. Everything was his choice! I agree with what Renee said!!! Usually the guy has a pretty decent idea that she would more than likely say yes. Especially if you've been together for 3yrs and have gone on a vacation together (and most likely that vacation wouldn't be your first. I know everyone is different but for me, if I've been with someone that long he would know how I felt and if I had any concerns in our relationship and I'd make sure that he wouldn't have to question or ever doubt how I felt about him. Again.....that's just me but if this happened to me, I'd absolutely lose it and do the ole ugly cry and your girlfriend would too.....lol I never get tired of watching these proposals. I'm not quite sure if I would marry on the spot ONLY bc I would want all of our family and friends to be there and be able to pick out the dress, cake, etc. All the things most girls dream about as a little girl, but ya never know.😉 You would know though beforehand & have that gut feeling but I could pretty much guarantee you that your girlfriend would love it. Whatever you end up doing in the future......please share so we all can cry and get that big ole knot in our throat.....lol GOOD LUCK!!💜

I enjoyed the proposal, but I thought that her boyfriend shouldn't have rushed so much in getting married to her the exactly same day. She didn't have the choice of her wedding dress, more friends and relatives of her choice. Everything was his choice! I bet her father would have loved to walk her daughter to the groom...but since this was on TV her father was already on an assigned place.
