- On Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012, I told my girlfriend to meet me at my parent's house for dinner. When she arrived I had stationed my brother to sit her in the back of an open Honda CRV and give her some headphones. He "wanted to play her a song"...
What she got instead was the world's first Live Lip-Dub Proposal.

@@MrBTRDAYZ Not quite yet - May 23rd 2022 will be the 10th anniversary of the proposal, but the wedding wasn't until 2014, so their 10th wedding anniversary will be (I think) Aug 31, 2024. They did meet in 2006 (thanks Internet!) so this year is the 15th anniversary of their first encounter, but I don't believe you are still supposed to celebrate that one post-wedding. :)

I can't even imagine how much time it took to prepare such a demonstration. And the fact that Isaac had so many people willing to do this for him is incredible. I don't even think I could convince my blood relatives to do something like this, so these people really care about him and his wife. It's very refreshing to see this sort of thing. I know this video is 9 years old, but I hope they are still doing well. That kind of energy deserves to thrive.

This was the best proposal ever - the girl was laughing with the comedy skirts and the dance was amazing with family and friends, And in the end, the boy uses best line to propose - may God bless their marriage

I think I read about her in some other version of this video (one without an intro). The only thing I remember is that she is a choreographer, and probably the one that made the routine. As far as I can remember, I think that she is not his sister, but they have a close connection, and that guy with her is her husband/boyfriend. I have an extremely bad memory, so this as far as I can remember, but I think that someone mentioned her name at this other video.

Honestly, watching the joy on her face as she watched all of her loved ones come together to make the proposal so special still brings tears to my eyes. Over the last several years, I've watched this video about 50 times. It helps to remind me, even when things are as bad as they can be, like with the current pandemic and following blame game, that there is still love and real affection in the world. The crisis WILL pass and those things will return to everyday life once more.
And the twins they have will be able to show just how their father proposed to their Mom. All on UA-cam.
