A poem I wrote to highlight the difference between Jesus and false religion. In the scriptures Jesus received the most opposition from the most religious people of his day. At it's core Jesus' gospel and the good news of the Cross is in pure opposition to self-righteousness/self-justification. Religion is man centered, Jesus is God-centered. This poem highlights my journey to discover this truth. Religion either ends in pride or despair. Pride because you make a list and can do it and act better than everyone, or despair because you can't do your own list of rules and feel "not good enough" for God. With Jesus though you have humble confident joy because He represents you, you don't represent yourself and His sacrifice is perfect putting us in perfect standing with God the Father.

these are just three examples but there are many more if you research, such as the seas that don’t mix, also the preservation of the Quran and how it has never been corrupted unlike the bible, and the development of the human in the mothers womb.
Jesus PBUH was a Muslim meaning he submitted his will to the one true god and even preached this in the bible, Moses PBUH also preaches this in the Ten Commandments, surely the conception of god Christian’s have would not make this so confusing to worship three gods and contradict the original old testament, we are not in a sinful state doomed but can repent and come to god and he will forgive us. 10 years ago I remember watching this as someone who hated God. For whatever reason I watched this over and over, and this video was in the back of my mind for years. Fast forward to today, and I have a personal relationship with Jesus. God used you and planted a seed. Truly incredible.
People get religion and Christian mixed up... They think it's the same thing, and it's not. He spells it out so well, you can be religious but not a Christian, but you can also be a Christian and not religious.
Saw this as a senior in high school in 2012. Born and raised catholic, became an atheist in high school, and after that I was deep in new age in my early 20s. Jesus saved me at 25 years old. This video is a reminder that He was after me all those years.

People who don't know what religion is or Who Jesus is.
Growing up my family attended the Catholic Church and when as I grew I began to question God. In high school I found this video and I loved it, but it didn’t resonate with me. I became an adult and fell into a deep darkness and the night I wanted to end my life, God came down to me. It felt like He took all the bricks that were placed on my chest and in a few minutes of silence I heard Him speak to me. I laid there for what seemed like hours. I now know why I loved this video. I’m so happy and grateful that God gave me enough life to get to know Him on a much deeper level. Religion doesn’t resonate with me, but Jesus does. ❤️

I was pretty messed up, taking drugs, getting drunk, self harming myself, bitter to those who did harm to me, held on to much of the past and not letting go until one day I picked the bible up and started reading it. I found that everything you read in the bible it shows you how to live a better and happier life. It did wonders to me. Our Jesus Christ is the way and is the light. He was more than a good man, he was the son of God. And it isn’t even about spirituality- it is about the heart turning to God and being reborn. It is not the same afterwards. Though we struggle, he changed us once and changes little by little with the rest. And he helped people to see God in him. That was his mission. That everyone comes to him to be saved and then follow him forever as his own child that he bought from slavery on the cross. All to glorify God. Amen, in Jesus Name. ❤️

To be fair religion has never really been pushed upon me, my dad is pagan and my mom is an atheist. Yet I still grew up in terrible conditions where I was abused mentally, emotionally, and physically.

I say this so often and it’s really that simple. Jesus is love. If you look at everything you’ve been taught and change it. Instead looking at it through the eyes of love, everything changes. It’s hard for people to take the religion that has been drilled in their head for their lifetime and simplify it to just love. But it’s not JUST love. It’s huge. Profound. Endless. Love. Love encompasses All!

No matter what way you look at it, saying you have a personal relationship with Jesus is silly. If you had a personal relationship it indicates he lives in the physical universe (meaning he is testable by science.)
If he does not live in the physical universe then he has no impact on the physical universe (meaning praying would never work, and miracles would be impossible).
Though it is apparent that prayer fails on many levels.

I like Buddhism, but I don’t identify with either. Grew up with religion. I think it’s important to know you’re put on this earth to learn about your soul to make peace and grow by learning to have compassion towards yourself. Something even religion won’t tell you, but the comfort of god. It’s really powerful. Life is a series of growing with pain and learning to get rid of what never belonged to you in the first place. Either way, I hope you find inner peace. You are doing just fine on your path.

I watched this video 5 years ago after clicking on it in somebody’s Instagram bio. I didn’t know Jesus and did not have any Christians in my life, but after watching this I watched another video of Jefferson sharing the gospel at a youth conference and I accepted Jesus right there in my bedroom that night and then started following Jesus with my whole life! And I have been for almost 5 years now! God can work through amazing ways. Thank you Jefferson for sharing the gospel with me and changing my life!!!!!!!

It is comforting to see Christians searching for the Truth by going to the texts that were sent to the prophets and conveyed by the messengers. I hope you continue on the path and find the way if your heart is sincere for the One, the Eternal, the Forgiving, the Owner of everything, the Purifier, Sustainer, the Provider. Nothing is like the All Mighty. Once sincerity enters your heart and your mind, it is harder for the Evil One to destroy you. Remember the ultimate goal of th Evil One is to get you to say, feel, think that the Almighty is not One (by associating other humans, objects,or creation with the Most High, the Creator).
