Yay! A reupload! 21 Jump Street was one of my FAVORITE shows as an 80s kid! Holly Robinson (before Rodney Peete) NAILED it with singing the theme song. 🎯 I had no idea Johnny Depp and Peter Deluise sang backup. Depp was GORGEOUS at the time! 🥰 Rest in peace Stephen J Cannell. 😔🙏🏾❤️🕊️
21 jumpstreet was my ishh back then coming from elder millennial. This was the show that put Johnny depp on the map! But during the later seasons, Johnny aka tom hanson was getting very irritated and you can tell around season 3 and 4. But alot of guest stars had cameos on 21 jumpstreet like Josh Brolin, Blair Underwood, Kurtwood Smith, Vince Vaughn, Christina applegate, jada pinkett-smith. Etc. Not to mention the theme song was a 10/10!
I didn't even like this show, but love your videos so much I had to watch it 😁 you do such a great job delivering backstory and carrying it all the way to the present. Your channel deserves more popularity! 🤞🏻
One of my favorite shows growing up... magnificent cast, great storylines and lots of known and unknown actors making guest appearances in wonderful episodes. It even included a nice spinoff series titled: Booker (1989), that only lasted one season but should have gotten a season 2. The series main cast: Tom Hanson, Doug Penhall, Judy Hoffs, Harry Truman Ioki, Captian Adam Fuller, Sal 'Blowfish' Banducci, Dennis Booker and Captain Richard Jenko all held it down in their roles. As did season 5 cast additions Anthony 'Mac' McCann and Joey Penhall (Doug's brother). The show tackled a lot of serious issues including: rape, AIDS, racism, satanic cults, abortion, gun control, drugs, human trafficking, gambling, prostitution, kidnapping, child abuse, police corruption, steroids, arson, extortion, organized crime, underage drinking, teen pregnancy, pornography, education, homelessness, religion, gangs, drunk driving, sexual abuse, as well as the more common police investigations of murders-murders for hire, thefts and burglaries. It also has a few lighthearted and off beat episodes including: How I Saved The Senator, Chapel Of Love, Wooly Bullies, A.W.O.L., Back From The Future, Awomp-Bomp-Aloobomp-Aloop-Bamboom, School's Out, What About Love?, Old Haunts In The New Age, Fear And Loathing With Russell Buckins and The Dreaded Return Of Russell Buckins. Many people don't like season 5 but it had some very solid episodes including: Just Say No! High, Poison, Coppin' Out, Homegirls, Bad Day At Blackburn, Wasted, The Education Of Terry Carver, Number One With A Bullet, Equal Protection, The Girl Next Door, Brothers and the series finale Second Chances. Some of the more memorable guest episode characters in the series include: Ronnie Seebok played by Josh Richman (Besieged 1-2/2245) Kenny Weckerle played by Brandon Douglas (Pilot, I'm OK You Need Work) and The Waxer played by Reginald T Dorsey (Pilot/You Ought To Be In Prison). Some of the guest stars included: Brad Pitt (Best Years Of Your Life), Josh Brolin (My Future's So Bright I Gotta Wear Shades), Troy Beyer (The Worst Night of Your Life), Jada Pinkett (Homegirls), Renée Jones (Besieged 1-2, Crossfire), Christina Applegate (I'm Ok You Need Work), Jason Priestley (Mean Streets And Pastel Houses, Two For The Road), Keith Amos (Afterschool Special), Shannon Tweed (You Oughta Be In Prison), Janet Hubert (Fun With Animals), Kelly Hu (The Dragon And The Angel), Mindy Cohn (Chapel Of Love, Christmas In Saigon), Dom DeLuise (Woolly Bullies), Gloria Reuben (Slippin' Into Darkness), Blair Underwood (Gott Finish The Riff), Bridget Fonda (Blinded By The Thousand Points Of Light), Larenz Tate (Woolly Bullies), Richard Roundtree (La Bizca) and Thomas Haden Church (Eternal Flame). My Top 10 Favorite Episodes (I Like Them All Even Season 5): Gotta Finish The Riff (S1/E7) Besieged (S2/E2-3) Afterschool Special (S2/E5) Don't Stretch The Rainbow (S2/E7) A Big Disease With A Little Name (S2/E13) Slippin' Into Darkness (S3/E2) Blinded By The Thousand Points Of Light (S3/E15) Loc'd Out (S3/E19-20) God Is A Bullet (S4/E5) Blackout (S4/E26)
21 Jump Street was my childhood favourite. I recently binged watched all the seasons including Booker. It's a shame that Booker didn't get any more seasons because it was really good.
It was still a very good show after Johnny Depp left and had a lot of good episodes in season 5 including: Just Say No! High, Poison, Coppin' Out, Homegirls, Bad Day At Blackburn, Wasted, The Education Of Terry Carver, Number One With A Bullet, Equal Protection, The Girl Next Door, Brothers and the series finale Second Chances.
21 was quite ahead it's time for the kind of show it was especially when you consider the fact in an age of segregated TV the shows characters were racially diverse, something unheard of at the time.
Holly Robinson Peete is a living legend!
Holly Robinson Peete did an amazing job singing the 21 Jump Street theme song

Shout out to Zootopia for honoring Holly Robinson Peete’s character with Officer Judy Hopps!
Great story on 21 Jump Street
21 Jump Street was New York Undercover before New York Undercover.
I used to watch some episodes in the 1990s.

Great show
Oh wow, not UA-cam getting the original video being taken down…
The Dry Man could have been left out the Video!😂 21 Jump Street is a Classic!
Wait a minute, didn't you uploaded it last week?
Did you get a strike on the original video?
Yes They did!
Was this video aired last week? I’m confused
Yes it was
Could've been a copyright strike and had to reupload
I was in high school when this show came on and love it. Once Johnny left it went downhill.
It was still a very good show after Johnny Depp left and had a lot of good episodes in season 5 including: Just Say No! Nguyen is pronounced 'win'
Peter DeLuise is directing episodes of the Hallmark show When Calls the Heart.
21 was quite ahead it's time for the kind of show it was especially when you consider the fact in an age of segregated TV the shows characters were racially diverse, something unheard of at the time.
Love them 🎵
21 Jumpstreet is also on Peacock 😉
There was a show called 21 Jump Street. I heard of the movie.
That's what the movie was based on - the TV show...
MY NAME JEFF
I only watched the show to sing a long with the theme song.
✨⭐✨💞💖💖💞💖💞💖💞✨⭐✨
Love holly robinson
Stream it on tubi
It’s pronounced Wen, not “noo-yin”🤦🏾♀️
Funny how you stated the two "white" characters. We all know both their backgrounds especially Depps.
