Reed should have a statue right next to Ray
I’m surprised they haven’t done that yet
All Ravens inducted into the Hall of Fame should have statues
Benjamin Mack exactly Ogden should get one to and Suggs should get one to when he gets in to the hall
Bubber Almighty yes! There should be statues of Ed Reed , and Johnathan Ogden on either side of Ray Lewis .
Ed was the Greatest!!!!
I love the fact that his last int with the ravens was in the superbowl. It was the perfect ending for his time in Baltimore
The perfect ending was Ed winning the Super Bowl in his hometown of New Orleans. That interception wouldn't have mattered if we lost the game, but thank God we did win.
Ed Reeeeeeeeeeeeed!!!
The most satisfying are the six picks against the Steelers.
Indeed my friend, indeed.
Thank you Ed for everything you've done for this organization. And your legacy will never be forgotten as you are enshrined in the NFL Hall of Fame. Thank you again and go Ravens.
E D Reed boy, best safety you ever seen boy
Every Ed Reed pick? I can watch this all day
Reed>Troy
As a life long ravens fan polumau is just as good as reed in his own respect. He literally ended meaningful ravens game with a pick or just by making a critical play. Either way to me they are the best ever at both there positions.
duh
@@thevoiceofreason8911 That pick you're talking about was literally tipped right to him. Not really "making a play," in my opinion, but okay.
In fact, the only thing Polamalu did extraordinarily well was blitz. And he got away with being offsides plenty of times.
Duh
Without question
That INT in the Super Bowl was legendary
The best are when he intercepts it full speed.. Man doesn't get any better
So, Ed Reed was technically a wide receiver who happened to play defense?
no, he could hit
He would have been wasted at WR. He could tackle, he could return, he could anticipate QB and WR tendencies. The guy was too smart to be a WR really
DB with HANDS. Rare I know, haha.
Exactly
Ed Reed was HIM
its crazy how he could've had more but they never try him
that's true for any good ballhawk
No safety I can think of had the versatility and success that Reed had. He was THE best Strong Safety in the league from 2002-2004, including being the 2004 DOPY. Then he switched over and became THE best Free Safety in the league, a feat not many SS could ever pull off. He honestly should have been the 2010 DPOY, after grabbing 9 INTs in only 10 games played.
But the bottom line is, Ed Reed was one of the greatest Ravens of all time, and arguably THE best safety to ever play the game.
I played both ss and fs in highschool they seem bout the same if you versatile
Umm he's a FREE safety!!!
@@jaredchance7953 did you not read the comment?
He played free is whole career yo!!!
Jared Chance he played SS the first few years of his career
Nothing gave me life more than when Reed intercepted the ball and then lateral it to keep it alive. THAT is what you call one hell of a true team player.
The NFL'S Best ever Ball Hawk! HOF Ed Reed! #20! Baltimore RAVENS!
Greatest safety ever. I wish he could of played with better QB's and offenses early in his career so he could of had more Superbowls. Damn he was a ball hawk. Well deserved hall of famer. Love me some Reeeeeed. RAVEN NATION !!!!
He had 3 right? I mean dam how many can you ask for lol
@@TexasBorn_TexasRaised ~ 3 what, superbowls? If that's what you mean, no. Reed was only in 1 Superbowl...
@@Deborahtunes Wow you are correct as big a fan I am of Ed I did not know that
@@TexasBorn_TexasRaised ~ Yeah. Unfortunately the Ravens had some really lousy quarterbacks during a big chunk of Ed's time in Baltimore. So it wasn't meant to be I guess. I would have liked him to have more SB rings though...
@@Deborahtunes I agree so he only won in 2012?
Ed Reed picked off the best of the best! Even when they knew not to throw to him
There is No words to describe about ED Reed talent and sportsmanship what very unique human being we thank you for all excitement we had throughout your career defiantly deserves statue in Baltimore city GO RAVENS!!!
Do *ALL 14* career touchdowns, including playoffs - via INT, FF/FR, BlockED Punts & ReturnED Punt (plus bonus hand-off from fellow DB teammate/interceptor, Samari Rolle) - next, please!!!!
Best yard after catch player ever!!
Ed Reed should be in jail for robbing all the QB’s like that
Underrated comment 😂😂😂
To whomever created this video montage, thank you!
Coach: “You know you can take a knee in the end zone and bring it out to the 20”
Ed: “So basically what you’re saying is I should return it from the end zone”
Ed Reed, NFL Hall of Famer, respect 💪💯.
there will NEVER be another safety like #20 ever....
reeeeeeeeeeeedddddddddddddddd congrats ed reeeeeeedddddddd on geting inducted into the nfl hall of fame
There are some great memories here. No disrespect to Ray Lewis but Ed Reed is the G.O.A.T.!!!!!!
Ooooooo ' maaaaaaaaaan. Dammmm, I'm weak in the knees, thinking about them days. All good, we gone have a good no fly zone again this year.
Earl Thomas, about to make his 4yr hall of fame run with b'mo , he here for a reason.
Awwwwwwrk, ... dam ed Reed, was baller.
Dude, Thomas was good in his prime, but he's way past that. And even in his prime, he couldn't hold a candle to Ed Reed.
@@Retrorevelations why u inventing a comparison, 🤔😏 , thomas is in his prime right now, if he play out this contract, and do what he did for Seattle for us over the next 3 to 4 yrs baring injury, we definitely making playoffs each year, atleast 2 or 3 division titles and who knows after that.
All thomas needs to do is, stay healthy, snag 3 to 4 picks avg over the next few seasons and be the leader for our secondary.
Safety play has always made sure we won and made deep runs, but till we see who gone be the next ray Lewis, ngata and suggs.
We know we got a Thomas.
Definition of "Free Safety"- Ed Reed. Never huddled, didn't have an assignment, only read the QB. result, Hall of Fame, Defensive POY and Superbowl Champion. Also College Football and Louisiana Sports Hall of Famer. Football Mt. Rushmore
100% of the earth is covered by Ed reed
Ravens film production crew kills it with everything they do 💯
We are a classy organization from top to bottom.
Some of our "fans" in recent years, not so much 😒
Fr
Ed Reed The Best Safety Ever
Miss watching this legend!
Amen
5:23 for those here to see him pick off Peyton
Ed REEEEEED: The man who once covered a certain play incorrectly for an entire season just so the film would fool Peyton Manning into throwing the ball to him for an interception.
AND IT WORKED.
My favorite Raven, hands down.
4:17 all the Philadelphia team members looking how Ed Reed is running by in front on them is just so funny
80% of Earth is covered by water, the other 20% is covered by Ed Reed.
I'm so lucky i have that gameused jersey john kitna wore when he threw that interception to ed
Despite all of this he's still one of the most underrated Safety ever
Best Free Saftey to ever play!
Best SAFETY to ever play, period.
@@Retrorevelations exactly
1:29 wtf, the Track is fitting so well with his flow and mindset
Ravens defense truly was dominant in the 2000s
Damn I miss Reed back there!!! Congratulations bro thanks for all the memories Ed, just imagine if we had a balance offense with all those great defenses we would definitely have 4-5 super bowl titles
Love ed reed... as a bears fan love how much he sees himself in Eddie Jackson. He even wanted to join the bears to coach Eddie Jackson and called him a future HOF safety. Always loved watching ed Reed ball out. Makes me like him even more showing love to our young safety in Chicago
70!!!😮 Fkn ball hawk... One of my greatest compliments I ever got was I looked like Ed Reed in my gear. I had to ball out that game
Congrats Mr Ed Reed for playing like a Raven happy you're a Hall of Famer now!! When I was still young I love watching every interception and hits with Ray Lewis!! Happy to wear jersey #20!! Ball Hawk!!
Yessss this is the video i needed today
Man Ed Reed was special on that field!
Greatest Safety Ever
Ed Reed (Thinking): Nobody would be dumb enough to make that throw, right?
Other team's quarterback: Hold my football.
Ed had a nose 4 the football like no other ...watching our games back then it wasn’t a question of if he would make a pick but when & will he take it to the house..Ed Reed was a special special player & alongside the great Ray Lewis???? mane our defense was ridiculously unstoppable..#RAVENSNATION#BMORE
Every time Ed got an interception I knew he would score or give us amazing field position that’s why we were so good 😊
I’m a Steeler fan and a Steeler fan specifically cause of Troy but I have such a high level of respect for Ed Reed and those years of dealing with those Ravens teams. Miss the days when these two played because they played safety in ways that no one is playing today. I remember back in 2010 when it seemed like Ed Reed caught a pick every game after he missed the first 4-6 to start the year. Best FS ever and by a mile.
That was unreal !! Definitely one of our top Avengers. Held us down during those tough seasons. ER20
SO UNDERRATED!!
Not only was he a ball hawk but he was one of the greatest on special teams and had some huge hits we was the goat safety and deserves a statue next to Ray Lewis.
I swear I've ben waitin 🔛 dis! 😩😌
I'm not a raven fan but I have high respect for Ed Reed. Absolute beast of a athlete. Truly enjoyed watching him play. Nice video 👍
Thank you
Goosebumps
RAVEN legend!!!! "Ball Hawk Ed Reed 💜🖤🔥🔥😤😤🏈🏈
G.O.A.T..............MUCH RESPECT
This may be the best video on the internet.
The master at work :)
I’m a Ravens’ fan because of Ed Reed, even thought he’s already retired
I love you guys and hope u like this
Ahhhhhh the browns greatest WR in action again.
Offense:Quarterback:😨I'm afraid to throw the ball.
Defense:Ed Reed:😈 ⚡⚡⚡
"Ed Reed Stadium" give him his flowers now
I want Ray Lewis to tell me "its time to hunt now" what a fucking motivator maybe the best in nfl history
G.O.A.T.
The degree of difficulty on these interceptions increased significantly after 2004 - and i've done a highlight reel, including drops he would have had close to 90 INTs in just 10 seasons! Amazing.
My all time favorite player. Many times I said thank God he is a Raven, just super talented. Is anyone else curious what play stands out as his favorite during his career?
First you are amazing I’m so happy you put another video
Lil
Lol
My favorite safety ever.
He might be the only player I’ve heard of who has actually broken his own record for a stat
*looks around*
Bro I love you for posting this.
*pause*
But seriously I love you for making this.
Favored this before the vid started lol
The real 2008 mvp
I remember him destroying that Redskins game, ways great when we destroy dc
I thought this vid was suppose to be an hour but Ight it’s fine REED THE GOAT
How can you be baord of watching ed reed my brother was telling me that im board
I can't believe he didn't win DPOY in 2008
MVP Ed
Ed reed ranked second in hof safteys and cornerbacks had 7 pick sixes and 2 fumble returns in his 13 year carrer
🐐
As a Falcons fan I take pride in Ed Reed never picking off a Falcons QB. Moral victory for me 😂😂😂
Reed deserves it hall of fame
wow I just realized I was at the game where he made his last season INT
All those change of possessions from him and that defense in the 2000’s and we only got one Super Bowl from him. We could’ve ran the league if we had a QB from 02-07 (Before Flacco)
Yeah best to ever do it.
🐐 🐐🐐🐐
soon as i seen the title i had to watch #RavensFlock
I'm packers fan and love it
Best
Best safety ever
The browns all time leader in receptions
The miami legend had alot !
That 2006 playoff indy game still hurts smh including 2011 where they were the best team on the league, reed should have 3 titles.... not yo mention we were about to draft Brady in the 6th round of 2000....
Really? Is that true about Brady, that the Ravens were going to draft him? What happened?
@@Deborahtunes yep Patriots got to him beforehand
@@nikaoharbour6962 ~ Oh wow, I wasn't aware of this. Thanks for telling me. Imagine what the Ravens could have been by now, if only that had happened...🏈
But do you think Brady would have accepted the Ravens draft?
I remember what Elway did in refusing the "Baltimore Colts" draft back in 1983, (one of the reasons I hate the Broncos so much).
@@Deborahtunes oh I have an u dying hatred for the Broncos due to Elway forever. Baltimore wasnt the issue it was the dysfunction at that time in the early 80s so Brady would've accepted the ravens .
@@nikaoharbour6962 ~ Oh well. Can't dwell on what might have been. Have a blessed evening...🏈🙂🌌
If you pause at 0:00, it just says 'REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE' all over the screen. I had to laugh at that.
REEEEEEEEDDDDDD THE GOAAAAAATTTTT!!!!! COMMMMEEEEE ATTTTTT MEEEE!
Best Safety to ever play the game.
Fuk yes ED REED!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
