I just finished my prayers and had asked Heavenly Father to help me understand the scriptures better I then opened my phone and your message came up. I am so grateful for the answers that came to me from your teaching.
You both are super awesome. Been loving your lessons for over a year now and we, my wife and I, are so inspired each time. You two are a testament to the revelations we have so often always confirming the things we ponder. So awesome guys! Love You!
Lately I have been asking Jesus to make my burdens light because I am having a very difficult year with my kindergartners and there have been too many times when I have not presented my best self because I am exhausted. He has shown up for me, though, and on those days when I feel closest to Him, I still have the same daily issues, but I can remain cheerful. It is also true that my mood affects the littles in my class and my cheerfulness is reflected back at me. Thank you, Jesus!
I love lessons where everyone gets to participate in small groups. I find so much is gained from these. Definitely my favourite way to lead the discussion in relief society.
Hi I am Valarie. My husband, and I watch your lesson every week. Last Sunday I was asked to substitute for the Gospel Doctrine Class. Your lesson, on the Miracles of Jesus, was very helpful. You gave me many ideas that helped me teach the lesson. Thank you for giving these wonderful lessons. They make us think about how to apply the scriptures into our own life. Please keep it up. You are appreciated.
I wish my dad would choose to have Jesus in his life, but he's stubborn, and not interested, even though he is surrounded by me and my mum who are LDS, with paintings of Jesus around the house, and temples, quotes etc, he still remains blinkered after over 30 years since mum was baptised. He is our personal Lamanite. But I guess you can't help someone who loves to moan, be negative all the time etc, and not willing to help himself, but is happy as Larry with his friends. He sure is a puzzle. I'm grateful for Jesus in my life, He has been near me in many years of challenges and currently still in the waiting for them to pass, He blesses me with inner peace, determination, and resilience. I know He will deal with the things in my life in His own time.
Good morning, my top takeaway is finding time to imagine that I am holding the hand of Christ as I meditate and pray in the morning. Chelsea, I am so thankful for your words that inspired me to look for his brightness. I really ponder and imagine me literally turning to Christ for my answers. I love the idea of when I am turning that I can imagine him literally there to communicate with as I pray, ponder, and listen. YES the scriptures do answer prayers. Steve, you crack me up with your sound effects. Thank you all for teaching us. 🤟
I need to put you guys earlier in the week-I have always listened to you on a Sunday, but that makes it the last day of the lesson. So maybe I need to mix it up!! As always, you guys are a highlight in my week and I love to listen to your experiences and hear your insights! I was a bit freaked out when Chelsea said it was February and you had all this snow!!!- I do not want to go back a month. It is hard to remember that we are in March because of all the snow we are getting, but almost halfway through and spring is coming! Anyway, thanks for all your time and efforts to help us on our journey which intersects with your journeys! Love hearing about your sons' experiences as well! Thank you!
I just have to say how grateful I am for you every week we watch and listen to your podcast. There is always an answer to my questions, one of those questions! Is something Steve mentioned. Jesus can heal anyone, even me. I haven't gone too far. I go to church nearly every week , but sometimes when I take the sacrament, I'm not sure if I'm worthy. But, this set of scriptures about Jesus healing several people from all walks of life, gives me great hope. Thank you again. 😇 Love you guys
Answers💫 Thanks again. Informative lesson that helps me understand the scriptures better. Jesus timing is perfect absolutely. You are two beautiful humans 💕
So every time I watch your video each week, I find myself smiling as I listen to the messages and see the joy you share with everyone. Thank you so much for what you do! @Steve - I meant to tell you from a comment you made in a previous video about what you should put on the back of the t-shirts… My husband and I agree that the “Love you! Bye!” should go on the back. We sometimes have fun saying the same to each other whenever we are leaving the room or the house.
I told my sister about you several weeks ago and assumed she had been watching you. Today I shared in a text message. She texted me back immediately that she had been praying for a way to understand better. Thank you for your service and all the good you do. Virginia.
Thank you so much again for the lesson this week! This keeps me motivated on studying everyday and reading and Studying Come Follow Me! I teach RS lessons and even though I don’t teach directly from CFM this study helps me be more in tune to what the needs may be in our RS discussion!💕
Hey steve i just wanted to say tht i attended the youth conference that u were at in new cany this past weekend and u as a person have inspired me to be a better version of my self and to study my scriptures as if it is a spiritual buffet. Thank u for all the great stories and advice.
Like the woman with the issue of blood - I have been searching for answers for 10years - today is the 10 year anniversary of the beginning of this journey, and I STILL don't have my answers, I am still waiting for my miracle. Today particularly the why's are hard - why have my prayers not been heard, why have others been granted the blessings I seek but not me? I have been reaching for the Savior - trying to be as obedient as I can, fulfilling callings, attending the temple, praying, reading scriptures - and still no solution, no answer. After all this time it is so easy to think/feel that I have been forsaken, that I am not good enough, maybe even that everything I thought I knew/believed is a lie. Instead - thanks to the encouragement from your channel - I shall continue to wait, to search and to reach - hoping that I may but touch the hem of His garment and receive answers and healing. Thank you.
Nonnegotiable. Chelsea you were an Answer to my thoughts and prayers. I I need to make my scripture study time nonnegotiable and not a hit and miss. Thank you both for sharing the scriptures and your testimonies every week. I can truly feel the Holy Ghost testify to me the sacred words you say are true. ❤
ANSWERS…don’t we all want answers? This is only my second week watching your videos but has helped me get more from my weekly study. I am a busy mom, and I am blessed to teach in the primary. Often times I find a lot of answers from the kiddos I teach (they really have so much they teach me!!). I am a convert and feel like they know just as much or maybe more than what I do about the gospel. It is great to hear them and listen and see how they turn to our savior. It makes me feel closer to him- just as your lessons are helping me to as well. Thank you for sharing and I look forward to next week and learning even more!!
I really like how you imagine Heavenly Father in your life. I'm gonna try that. To hold HIS hands and see the nail prints. It makes me excited to get closer to HIM. And I also like Scott's visualization too. I know we can't do it without Jesus!
Thank you. I have found many answers in the scriptures to help guide me. This week there was this one: I see the woman with the issue of blood struggling and pushing through the crowd making a great effort to approach the Savior so she could reach out between and through the press to touch the Saviors garment. I don’t see her sitting by the way so the Savior could randomly pass close enough so she could touch him. To me she had to make a lot more effort and sacrifice to touch that garment so that her faith could heal her. That teaches me that I can’t just sit by the way and wait for opportunities to come my way. If I want the healing balm of the gospel to be in my life I have to work diligently to put myself in a situation where the Lord can bless me.
At my lowest point after my husband passed away, I was meeting with my bishop and he told me to go home and read some verses in the Doctrine and Covenants. However, in my state of mind I was not able to remember where he said to read. The was so frustrating because I needed so much help and was desperate to find it. After many moments of anxiety and frustration and tears, I began to calmly search the scriptures to see if it would spark my memory. That never happened but what did happen was I found the particular scriptures that were directly linked to what I needed to see and read and understand in my heart and mind. That gave me the strength I needed! I still refer to D&C 58:2-6 in time of need. I have since expanded my love of these sculptures to the whole chapter 58&59 of the Doctrine and Covenants. It’s now been six years since this happened and I continue to read these verses throughout challenging times and joyful blessed times also. It has helped me learn how to allow the Lord to speak to me through the scriptures and that is a huge, huge blessing to my testimony!
Answers to prayers are everywhere if we just look. I know there were many times when I'd look at the amount of food I placed on the table and yet there was enough. I know that many times I would pay tithing knowing how much was in the bank, yet we had enough. For this and many more instances, too many to list here, I am grateful to all the answers I find in the conference talks, scripture and more. Claire in Independence, MO.
You make studying the scriptures much more fun and exciting. I thought, wow, I want to be first to comment. The answers that l recieved this week are to become whole by being faithful. This often takes time and happens by small and simple means. It takes time to learn how to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. We make a lot of mistakes and damage by jumping into a bulldozer and trying to do everything all at once on our own. When we do, The Savior has the utter most compassion for us and wants us to come unto Him to learn how to repent and do good to ourselves and others. None of us are whole, we all need Jesus Christ. It's also very harmful to eat old dead food and substances that reduce our health and capacity over time, making the rent to Satan worse as our bonds to him become stronger and diseases are increased. Everyone is blessed and healed by coming more fully unto Jesus Christ, the healer of all diseases. Have a wonderful and fun week everyone!!!
31:19 ❤❤❤ We love you guys so much and know that Heavenly Father has put you in front of us for our personal spiritual expansion through the constant “divine downloads” we receive each week. It is so amazing to witness live angel servants of God on UA-cam helping thousands of us get closer to our Redeemer- mahalo, Malo aupito and DOMO Arigato Gozaimashita for allowing us to on your celestial journey bus to the highest kingdom 🎉🎉🎉 We love “non-negotiable time,” and the thoughts of our own children dying is HEAVY, but then to be brought back by the savior… WOW! And your morning ritual… 🔥SO KOOL🔥
This was another great lesson. I too thought, "Haven't I read this before." But we have been told that repetition is good for us. So that is why things are repeated. Here is a thought from the October 1855 Epistle. When you enlist under the gospel banner give the adversary a ticket of leave, and never again permit him an abiding place in your bosoms, never again place yourselves under his influence, neither anything which you possess; live to build up the kingdom of our God, and let your actions correspond with your professions.
My father taught me from a young age that answers are found in the scriptures. As I have grown I am always amazed when I am randomly reading and an answer is given. It reminds me of the new primary song My Own Sacred Grove. The scriptures are my sacred grove that I turn to for answers help and comfort. I may not find them instantly or maybe not the answer I want but the answers are there
Years ago to get my own answers I made a non-negotiable date with my monthly temple attendance. I lived in Atlanta, the temple was close to an hour away and my children were in elementary school. But every 2nd Thursday my girlfriend and I would go to the temple. Our goal was to see what new things we could learn that day. Every time our hearts were taught something more.
I think I’m always the last to comment..lol.. mom and I watch the lesson after after the lesson at church.😂 The scriptures have always had answers for me and I love the way y’all make me think of things I didn’t know I needed to think about.❤❤
I don’t write often, but my husband recently died and we had watched your “CFM” podcast almost ever week, especially during the pandemic, then we would share our thoughts with each other. Now I just want to share this thought / story with someone… Years ago my daughter and I met a JW while at some stables…he asked me if I knew who “Jehovah” was and I replied that, “ yes, as a matter of fact I did, He is my savior Jesus Christ “. He told me he was a JW, and I told him I was Mormon and he jumped back away from me. He said, “You believe that satan is your brother!” I guess of all the things one can learn / hear about the members of the church…this is what appalled him. It made me laugh and being what I thought was clever I said, “ you haven’t met my brother, or you would have no doubt” (Just a note here, I have a brother who is schizophrenic)… clearly this wasn’t as clever to him as it was to me. The real point is that during the lesson about the legions, they knew Christ…just as satan (our brother) knows us. It only makes sense that in order to tempt us, he would have knowledge of us…and that scripture pointed that fact out quite nicely. Satan and his legion have no bodies, so they probably don’t have the veil, either. Gives them a bit of an advantage.
Someone touched Jesus with faith, and because of His inner character and divine power, He could feel this power coming out of Himself. Great is your faith, go in peace When anxiety is felt, the merciful and loving nature of our Savior does have the power to bring us peace and wholeness in times of need.
ANSWERS Last weekend was our Stake Conference and we had Elder Brook P. Hales as our visiting authority. I received answers to my prayers while listening to the speakers and music. I had the following experience last Sunday while singing Hymn #85 verse 3 I was overcome with God’s love while singing it and made me tear up. It was an answer to prayer due to feeling overwhelmed Friday night with family life. There was a family in front of us and one of their daughters who will be 2 in June kept looking at me. I kept smiling at her and eventually she smiled back at me. I told the Mom after the meeting that I could feel God’s love from their daughter❤️
I loved this lesson! Thank you so much! I have mourned for Lahaina from the moment I heard of this horrible situation! I was in the Lahaina 1st ward for three months! I am so sad this has happened. Could I possibly go with you to serve them? I love you both m, Lois Webb. Oh the word off the week is Cheerfully.
A couple I used to go to yoga with went into the MTC yesterday. They are going to the Bristol England Mission. I thought of your son. The Luke’s will be working with the YSA. They will be great.
i hoped you've seen one of my dad's comments about me getting spooked when steve told chelsea to "wait for them to turn their pages" while I was highlighting some verses you read out😂😂
The ANSWER I have received from the scriptures today is that our 24-year-old son’s lower disc will be healed and that he won’t need a second surgery! He had back surgery a couple days before Christmas and he is still having nerve pain down his leg, but I have faith that he won’t need another surgery! We fasted again for him yesterday and I feel peaceful and comforted through the scriptures of Jesus’ great love and healing power!!
So, this is the week of the great Scriptural heroines: the woman with the issue of blood and Jairus' daughter. She had to die when she was 12 so Christ could raise her from the dead. I have nieces who are 12. It would be really sad if any of them died. She fulfilled her role in Father's plans flawlessly.
Chelsea, the temerity that the woman with the issue of blood had is clearly evident. That would be extremely frightening but she placed her trust in Christ and feared not.
My ANSWER to your question of what we learn from the scriptures is from the lady with the issue of blood. If we reach out to find Christ, we will find him. It will be worth our efforts.
Hello, I understand that scriptures have answers, but, the very first part of your video read about the unclean spirits and legions, then you pause and ask your wife what the ANSWER is. But, you never pose a question. An answer is exactly that, there has to be a question first.
I think I’m always the last to comment..lol.. mom and I watch the lesson after after the lesson at church.😂 The scriptures have always had answers for me and I love the way y’all make me think of things I didn’t know I needed to think about.❤❤

You make studying the scriptures much more fun and exciting. I thought, wow,
I want to be first to comment.
The answers that l recieved this week are to become whole by being faithful. This often takes time and happens by small and simple means. It takes time to learn how to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. We make a lot of mistakes and damage by jumping into a bulldozer and trying to do everything all at once on our own.
When we do,
The Savior has the utter most compassion for us and wants us to come unto Him to learn how to repent and do good to ourselves and others.
None of us are whole, we all need Jesus Christ.

Hi, from the mostly northerly village on the Scottish mainland.
Hello from Canada 🇨🇦!!
Someone touched Jesus with faith, and because of His inner character and divine power, He could feel this power coming out of Himself.
Great is your faith, go in peace
When anxiety is felt, the merciful and loving nature of our Savior does have the power to bring us peace and wholeness in times of need.

Last weekend was our Stake Conference and we had Elder Brook P.
Aww that’s awesome thank you Kya!
@@connectupcomefollowme You are welcome!
Feeding the 5,000, to me, as a statistician and journalist, is among Christ's more astounding miracles.
Agreed!
A couple I used to go to yoga with went into the MTC yesterday. They are going to the Bristol England Mission. I thought of your son. The Luke’s will be working with the YSA. They will be great.
It is such a great mission I am excited for them!

i hoped you've seen one of my dad's comments about me getting spooked when steve told chelsea to "wait for them to turn their pages" while I was highlighting some verses you read out😂😂
Yes lol 😂
I that that you might choose answers as your word of the week!
Yes!
I enjoy the insights that you bring out as we study these scriptures together. Answers

Do I come to see or do I come to be healed?
Oh love this insight!
ANSWERS the Savior has them!
Amen!
Thank you Benita!
If he is open to it I could teach you how to do the nerve protocol on the spine that helps with the healing. Message me (Chelsea)
Sorry about the random coughs, Steve. I'm having a little trouble with that lately. Hopefully, not much longer.
The woman with the issue of blood completely placed her trust in Christ. She was successful.
Yes it will! Thank you
Answers! If He can make so much out of a little (fish and bread), what can He make out of me??

Hello, I understand that scriptures have answers, but, the very first part of your video read about the unclean spirits and legions, then you pause and ask your wife what the ANSWER is. But, you never pose a question. An answer is exactly that, there has to be a question first.
So what is lesson for you? There is your question 😊
Is it me the 1st?
Yes! Good job 😁
I think I’m always the last to comment..lol.. mom and I watch the lesson after after the lesson at church.😂
The scriptures have always had answers for me and I love the way y’all make me think of things I didn’t know I needed to think about.❤❤
I'm probably last.....posted 3 mins ago haha. Always playing catch up.
