It’s the same lyrics. Ronnie for sure means it. His mom abandoned him and his brother when he was very young. There is a video of Ronnie showing the song to Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach and Ronnie is a nervous wreck.😊
Papa roaches one is what us as teenagers needed to hear back in the day ,very chaotic and heavy just like we were. this version is for us as adults after experiencing life’s twists and turns having been through stuff.
There's a great video of Ronnie showing the unmixed demo of this song to Jacoby Shaddix (Papa Roach) to get his approval and he was so nervous, its so cute! ❤
I've been a Falling in Reverse fan for a very long time, my daughter actually got me into them lol. I loved the original Papa Roach's version & you're right it was intense, this came out the yr I lost my father to cancer while I was pregnant with my daughter & it helped me through my grief. I absolutely love this version, the lyrics hit you a lot harder & Ronnie puts soo much emotion into it. I had tears in my eyes the first time I heard Ronnie singing this.
I don’t mind the pausing, enjoy your take! For the other videos that also have epic videos I recommend Voices in my Head and Zombified! Complete the set 🔥❤️
This is a follow up to 'Watch the world burn'. Hence the deserted and broken down buildings. It all starts with 'voices in my head', then 'Popular monster', followed by 'Ronald', 'Watch the world burn', and ends with 'Last resort'. You should react to these back to back as the music videos combined tell a story, lyrically and visually. Great reaction, as always!
I'm really like this analogy with this track. Original Last Resort by Papa Roach is sung from the perspective of a teenager. A lot of anger and such. And FIR version is sung from the perspective of fully adult person.
Yes, these are the same words as the original version by Papa Roach. This song connected to SO many of us when Papa Roach released it, that's how like an entire generation felt at that moment in time. For some it was just cool music, and that's fine, but for others it made us feel like somebody finally understood us and how we felt. We felt seen for possibly the first time in our lives.
This was the sequel to Watch the World Burn. He took Papa Roachs version and turned it into a masterpiece. Ronnie changed it just a bit but other than that the lyrics are original. The part about his mom is real. She left him when he was like 3 years old. Great reaction! ❤
The lyrics are by Papa Roach. But Ronnie had a lot of issues because his mother left the family when he was still a baby and he also dealt with a lot of mental health problems. So I'm sure he identifies with the lyrics. I'm looking forward to your next FiR reaction. Subbed! Greetings from Germany
My interpretation is that when the buildings are being restored his mind has come to the conclusion that ; My mind or my sicknesss should not destroy the whole world. The buildings in my life are not those. Maby I'm overthinking, but that is my take because it resonated with me. Hugs from Sweden. 😊
Why do cover songs by big metal bands always go so god damn HARD? Blinding lights by Saint Astoria, Sound of Silence by Disturbed, this... all crazy good
Great reaction have subbed for more FIR!!! The original version was for teenage angst and Ronnies is the adult grown up version where you really feel the lyrics🖤🖤🖤 If you like rap you should check out FIR cover of Gangsters Paradise, Alone, and the Trilogy... has to be done in this order 1-Losing My Mind 2-Losing My Life 3-Drugs
if you want to discover another bag ( the fifth?😅) you absolutly need to listen " im not a vampire" and specially the amazing "im not a vampire REVAMPED" version
Such a great band for you to be enjoying. They have plenty other hits. You gotta check out “voices in my head” and “zombified” amongst many others. Enjoi
@@tracymccall5906agree with you. We’ve all heard the song. I love to hear people’s inputs and how they are feeling hearing it for the first time. That’s the whole point of a reaction ❤
I know a fair amount of viewers want this, but it's hard for me to justify uploading a reaction video if I don't pause to either explain what I like, how I feel, or where I think the piece is going. Or else, I'd feel like I'm just stealing Ronnie's great content.
I don't mind the pausing at all. It is a reaction, after all. You can't tell someone how to react or else it wouldn't be genuine. Personally, I'm not a fan of the filler music at the pauses because that throws off the mood of the song. Personal opinion, though. Love the reaction regardless!

He set the world on fire in Watch the World Burn. He rebuilt it in Last Resort.
The broken pieces “fell in reverse” to rebuild.. could be reaching for intent here but like to think it’s another rr planned visual representation

I swear I get more of a kick out of watching reactions to Ronnie's talent. Everyone is amazed!

Now it makes much more sense. I really did it backwards lmao

Another reaction channel worded is genre blending this way; "We get it Ronnie, you can music!"
You are spot on! Good breakdown !
Ronnie is a mastermind. I'm gonna lay out a map for you in your latest FIR reaction if I don't see it before I get there.

Try to minimize pausing.🌷
Nah man I'm here for a reaction not to just listen to the song.
