Congratulations on your evaluation!! So well-deserved, I'm sure. I'm not even shocked. Hot coffee is honestly so superior to me. I've only ever had an iced coffee as a treat when out and about, but it's very rare.
You definitely pay in the DMV for luxuries like new fixtures, internal hallways, door people, washer and dryer, high walk score locations etc. Plenty of things under $1800 that might not have all the things that bring us comfort.
$1800 is an amazing price in my location!! I got lucky that I moved during covid when prices were down. Now, to get a 1 bedroom in my area it costs at least $2800.
Funny we have flexible hours as well but with covid we have to log in sooner hahaha. We also have hours that we have to be avaiable. So for my company, the home office is more restricted when it comes to working hours.

Are you looking to stay in DC. I live in Woodbridge,VA and I pay 1882 yes that's high for a 3 bedroom apartment that almost what you pay for your 1 bedroom. However more room and space.

Colorado is the same way omg, with prices of apartments & what it would cost for a mortgage. Yet the price of houses here are INSANE, like 400k + making it almost impossible for the average person to buy a home. It's such a struggle. But eventually, what you will choose, will be the best decision for you. It's definitely a lot to think about all the time haha
Ugh yes it’s a lot to think about! Colorado is BEAUTIUFI! The prices for houses sound similar to oregon, but here for a nice house you gotta have atleast $800k if not $1MIL. Orherwise you gotta live atleast an hour outside the city and still pay like $700k for a house it’s WILD.
