Unfortunately that's something we have to deal with as men. It will happen nearly every time. I broke up with a girl once, I say "I", I mean we broke up. It was amicable. We both realised we were no longer compatible so we went our separate ways. 3 weeks later I get a phone call from her father. He and I got along well, and he informed me that he suspected his daughter was lying about the break up. She went around telling her family and friends that I had cheated and was violent. I almost lost my job because of her lies because one of her friends decided to ring my company to tell them these lies. It happens with every break up, but some are worse than others. Keep your head up, there are girls who don't play games. You just gotta keep fishing.

I see her mentality in my sister. Every time she brings a new guy into her life it's the same type of guy that always does her dirty, has no money or transportation and eats her kids food. I had a lot of self esteem issues growing up due to my weight. I was always ending up with crappy, toxic women. Anytime I was ever in my feelings about it I always got “not all women” line. It was infuriating to then hear the All men narrative. Ultimately you have to grow and understand that something in you allows these red flags to pass by you. There are crappy people out there men and women but it’s up to you to be mature enough to navigate them.

I grew up as the only male in a household with my mom and older sister and have never known what it’s like to hate, fear, or not respect women as equals. I haven’t dated an astronomical number of girls throughout my life but I’ve certainly dated quite a few, I’ve never cheated on anyone in my entire life, I’m still, to this day, friends with every single one of my ex-girlfriends aside from a couple of the earliest ones with whom I’ve simply been out-of-touch for so long I don’t know where they are anymore. I’ve been done much worse by girls than I ever did any of them (and it was only a couple who accounted for that, but still). In fact my last girlfriend- the girl who taught me I was even capable of wanting to marry someone- cheated on me and it destroyed me for a long time. I still forgave her, still love her as a close friend, and we talk all the time. I’m not bad. I’m a good person and a good man. So don’t sit there on your fuckin high horse and tell me how none of us are good or faithful or genuine when you’re a liar and a cheater your damn self. I don’t believe for an instant that there aren’t plenty of good men who live in your area. I DO most DEFINITELY believe that you struggle to find them though, because all the good ones are smart enough to stay the fuck away from you.

I’m a woman and believe you hit the nail on the head. When I engaged in healthier thinking, my quality of men improved. I never judged a man by his money or lack of, or his chiseled body, etc..... but generally, I went for emotionally unavailable guys. I had to stop. There was a catholic mass then we heading to a relatives house for dinner and it lasted all day. That is hard but I am happy and proud of you for being so strong and mature despite how much hurt you went through. No matter what you think or others say, always remember nothing that happened is your fault or you could have done something to change them. No you were not at fault, the people who hurt you were responsible.
This woman's attitude is why you treat every person as their own incident when you're dealing with people. After the first couple guys, she stopped making the effort to be kind and the good men stay away from women like that. She attracts bad people because bad people are the ones who want to have sex with her. You have to make an active effort to be positive in order to attract the right people. Men absolutely have to do that as well. It's not an exclusive issue, it's ALL about attitude and what group you associate with. If your friends are toxic, you'll attract toxic men, women, whatever.
Took me 25 years of being nice to women, usually resulting in me being devastated in most relationships with women. Getting used, cheated on, looked down upon, and never understanding why. I mean, I would have died for some of these girls. Then I found the gospel of Mr. Patrice Oneal and the Black Phillip show. And now I put myself and my feelings 1st, and I must admit, the results are astounding. Life is much better now and I finally have a grasp of understand female nature.

Any woman who says things like "all men are bad" is clearly someone who is actively chasing after the "bad boy" with the idea of "But I can change him!" x.x Setting themselves up for failure right there. Reality is that there are good people, both male and female, out there. And there are awful people, both male and female. And sometimes there are truly evil people. You have to pay attention to people's actions and words...and never assume that you can just change people. If your first thought is "I can get this person to change", then walk away. You shouldn't go into a relationship with the view that the person *must* change to reflect what your own desires for them are.
Or were raised by abusive men/grew up with few positive male role models. I grew up watching my father and uncles mistreat women and was badly bullied by boy's at school, plus my first experiences of romance left me in a really bad place so I didn't hold out much hope for ever having a good black man in my life. I didn't want to settle down/marry outside of my race so I gave up on the idea of finding love, until I met my partner of now 5 year's, we've been through a lot of hardship but we're constantly building and encouraging eachother, he has such a pure heart and is one of the most thoughtful people I know, I honestly didn't know it was as possible to be loved like this. There are good men, sometimes they're just not in our immediate circles.

As someone who's been in abusive relationships and self sabotaging behaviors bc of my hurt.. no way would I blame ALL men for my hurt. In my healing, I've learned I choose the toxic men I've been with because of my toxic environment growing up, toxic is familiar to me so subconsciously that's what I chose. I have to now make an effort & be self aware not to continuously choose toxicity. Her outlook is simply low self esteem & not being self aware in her choices.

I grew up as the only male in a household with my mom and older sister and have never known what it’s like to hate, fear, or not respect women as equals. I haven’t dated an astronomical number of girls throughout my life but I’ve certainly dated quite a few, I’ve never cheated on anyone in my entire life, I’m still, to this day, friends with every single one of my ex-girlfriends aside from a couple of the earliest ones with whom I’ve simply been out-of-touch for so long I don’t know where they are anymore. I’ve been done much worse by girls than I ever did any of them (and it was only a couple who accounted for that, but still). In fact my last girlfriend- the girl who taught me I was even capable of wanting to marry someone- cheated on me and it destroyed me for a long time. I still forgave her, still love her as a close friend, and we talk all the time. I’m not bad. I’m a good person and a good man. So don’t sit there on your fuckin high horse and tell me how none of us are good or faithful or genuine when you’re a liar and a cheater your damn self. I don’t believe for an instant that there aren’t plenty of good men who live in your area. I’m a woman and believe you hit the nail on the head. When I engaged in healthier thinking, my quality of men improved. I never judged a man by his money or lack of, or his chiseled body, etc..... but generally, I went for emotionally unavailable guys. I had to stop. God being a profound aspect of the relationship helps a lot. And being kind to him. A lot of women pride their man on how much he’ll do for her, or how much she can talk down to him. (“MY MAN NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO HANDLE MY CRAZY)....I had to learn to be kind and friendly, listen to him (just as I always ask of him), APOLOGIZE, and pray for him. And apply the golden rule - if he can’t say it to me, then I can’t say it to him!! Keep it true, keep it respectful, but be smart. If you’re only attracting the same kind of men, you have some self work to do. Ladies, these gentlemen are on to something.

This woman's attitude is why you treat every person as their own incident when you're dealing with people. After the first couple guys, she stopped making the effort to be kind and the good men stay away from women like that. She attracts bad people because bad people are the ones who want to have sex with her. You have to make an active effort to be positive in order to attract the right people. Men absolutely have to do that as well. It's not an exclusive issue, it's ALL about attitude and what group you associate with. If your friends are toxic, you'll attract toxic men, women, whatever.

Reality is that there are good people, both male and female, out there. And there are awful people, both male and female. And sometimes there are truly evil people. You have to pay attention to people's actions and words...and never assume that you can just change people. If your first thought is "I can get this person to change", then walk away. You shouldn't go into a relationship with the view that the person *must* change to reflect what your own desires for them are.
Or were raised by abusive men/grew up with few positive male role models. I grew up watching my father and uncles mistreat women and was badly bullied by boy's at school, plus my first experiences of romance left me in a really bad place so I didn't hold out much hope for ever having a good black man in my life. I didn't want to settle down/marry outside of my race so I gave up on the idea of finding love, until I met my partner of now 5 year's, we've been through a lot of hardship but we're constantly building and encouraging eachother, he has such a pure heart and is one of the most thoughtful people I know, I honestly didn't know it was as possible to be loved like this. There are good men, sometimes they're just not in our immediate circles.

As someone who's been in abusive relationships and self sabotaging behaviors bc of my hurt.. no way would I blame ALL men for my hurt. In my healing, I've learned I choose the toxic men I've been with because of my toxic environment growing up, toxic is familiar to me so subconsciously that's what I chose. I have to now make an effort & be self aware not to continuously choose toxicity. Her outlook is simply low self esteem & not being self aware in her choices.
