I bought a chrome trim around 2ft long & it needs spot welding on.
Is this the top piece were weather strip sits 🤔 I'm unsure 🤔

What should i do when chanels holding rubner are mostly rusted? It is so rusted i might not have them anymore after i take of old rubber.
