grandMA3 - Create Gradients Like a Pro | Tutorial

With lighting rigs getting ever more complex and fixtures having more and more pixels as well it's very important to being able to work with gradients effectively. Today we talk about how to apply them using MAgic presets in grandMA3 and how to use them within your recipe based shows.

Wenn du die Farb Presets in einen Phaser verwendest und den Phaser von 0° bis 180° einstellst und den Speed auf 0 stellst, hast du ein "universelles" Gradient, das man in Recipes verwenden kann.

Hey! How to make a stage on Grandma3? I want to make the stage I will be working on but I dont know how to make it. Also, If you could help me with these lights. They are the Omez lighting O-Matrix 5. Is it possible for me to get each indiviual circle light on a layout view so I dont have to go in the fixture view and guess on how to make things i want to make on the matrix lights like some are off and some are on? If you can make a video on those please do! It would really help!

Is there a reason you did a 3 step gradient instead of just applying wings to your 2 step gradient ?

I can get this to work on fixtures that don’t have instances but when I try and do it on Strike M’s cells it doesn’t work for some reason? maybe a bug with magic presets on children fixtures?

Yeah I was having the same issue with PXL Bar 16’s the instances were unable to generate a MAgic Preset. I just ended up grabbing the instances and aligning over the color picker

Nothing special...I just lowered the ambient and point light way down.
