Listening to him speaking and observing his mannerisms reminds me very much of Tal Farlow - humility, kindness, generosity and warm hearted humour - I perceive also that this man has suffered much but he gains so much joy from his love of music and his love of art - I am very touched by his humanity - and it goes without saying that he is an excellent musician who has found his own unique voice in the world of guitar - maybe one day I will meet him and we can play together - than you for posting this up - it is splendid - it is superb !
I like the title screens in between Peter's answers - lot of letters that look like scattered tea and in the middle of it one word, like melody or something. And you don't need to know more.
Hi guitarthai, thanks for the interview! Could you tell us what is the name of the little piano excerpt playing in between Peter's answers, on the written questions? thanks a lot
Oh no, the Pablo Casals grunting while playing. Please, no. I love Peter's playing but don't start on this. I heard Julian Lange doing it as well on a UA-cam video recently. It doesn't hold up to repeated listening. Casal's beautiful Bach solo cello suites are ruined by it, hard to listen to.

Thanks for posting ... when I was young it was all about Jimi .... now it's Peter :)
Great advice from a true artist
Great video, thanks for posting. I love the way Peter come across as a regular approachable guy.
Thanks for this. It's hard to find much about Pete so interviews like these are very welcome!

+Clément Trimouille The song is Bill Evan's "Peri's-scope"
what was the song he played solo at the end?
Darn that dream
Everything happens to me at the end.
