What an amazing guitarist with a sound and cord melody intro just murder & the trio killing it.. hard to find these days. These guys will swing you into bad health
I met Peter Bernstein very recently, through youtube videos. He's an excellent guitarist. I want to congratulate him and thank him for his interpretations. From Buenos Aires, Argentina. Oh, the bassist and the drummer are excellent too!
Peter is a real monster! Personal and original style, yet within the tradition. Chack also Matt Jorgensen's extensive work. In particular the "Chamber Three" CDs.
Right. He’s playing way behind the beat while the other members of this trio are cooking. He sounded stoned! Nothing truly inventive. What the heck is all the praise about?! Are they deaf?
This is excellent. Mr. Bernstein is one of the finest jazz guitarists ever. The only people that gave this a thumbs down are mad they arent this good.
You might notice that no one has given it a "thumbs down".
@@jefff.1654 You might notice that youtube removed all thumbs-down reactions from being visible likely due to the mass disapproval of "the president."

i must have listened to this video at least a hundred times and it's still as great.. holy shit Peter is the MAN :D :D
some of the best , most musical guitar playing I ever heard
HERO! One of the greatest guitar players in the world

Besides the (obviously) great playing, really appreciate the quality of the audio and filming!!.
Thanks for watching!
that bass solo was just unbelievable

Most smooth melodic guitarists, sure 'nuff.
what a trio!very nice!amazing!
killer bass solo
Yeah!
Chuck Deardorf!!
..kinda reminds me of NHOP...killer player.
Woah. Such a great version!
Thank you Peter Bernstein Trio Just Perfect this goes out to My Baby 💙
fantastic
beautiful groove!
Superb!!
great!
Very enjoyable
Masterful
Excellent!
Matt Jorgensen's drumming is fantastic! I can hear a lot of Bill Stewart in his playing.
Yea every player since 2010 has been playing like Stewart
Fantastico !!!
YEA MAN
Grande..
reminds me heaps of barney kessel... soo good
+Luke Chapman right? I thought that too. They both swing like mad.
Barney's chord soloing is on a different level, though. Kessel's chords are much thicker and have constant movement within the context.
the buiguining of the theme remembers me Night and Day
Gabriel Gomes Yeah a lot of Cole Porter tunes definitely have that color
He's so amazing man! Just transcribed the introduction for this. Is this Peter's own arrengement?
Alan Gonzalez Martinez it's his arrangement of the song's verse
Sounds great. What amp is Peter using?
It's our in house Fender Deluxe Reverb! Thanks for watching!
こういう曲の場合ドラムがドカドカ叩いて雰囲気をぶち壊すケースが多いが、その点このドラムは非常に良かった。
Can anyone identify the brand of his guitar?
It's a Zeidler.
fretbuzz59 Thanks!
Killer timbre!! :0
wow what's phrasing!
what guitar oes he play here?
+Edad Martin
He usually plays a Zeidler, as far as I know quite a difficult to find (and expensive) instrument.
+Agustín Cernuda Since the luthier died, the guitars are practically invalueable, I think Bernstein got his just before the death
What is that pedal on his amp? Anybody knows?
+Harri Heinsoo overfeelingstopper I guess
if i had to guess, looks like a EHX Holy Grail. Could be wrong
Hey! You can check out my cover of the solo here if you want:

Thanks for sharing the video, KNKX
what a guitarist.... the only one that can be compared to Jim Hall...
a lot of bill evans´s harmony on peter´s playing. Not at his finest in this particular performance, but still a monster jazz cat...
Right. He’s playing way behind the beat while the other members of this trio are cooking. He sounded stoned! Nothing truly inventive. What the heck is all the praise about?! Are they deaf?
13 deaf guys...
Super boring...
Bro don’t hate just because you can’t play like Peter.
