John Goodman is one of the greatest gifts to TV and Film of all time, although it may not seem like it because he isn't necessarily an "A-lister". But seriously...there is no one quite like him.
When I was a little girl I never thought dan was attractive at all but for some reason I always dreamed that my future husband would be just like dan because of how he treated Rosie on the show. I also imagine that John in real life isn't t much different than the character of dan like he was just playing himself with a different name.
You just don't see enough of this man. He's a well rounded (no pun inteneded :P) actor. He played a great role in this show. Without him it just wouldn't have been the same. Popper is awesome on that harmonica, a great blues musician keeping the music alive.
Blues Traveler is the only group I know with a song called “Gina” 😉 I truly think he doesn’t say much else other than Gina and playing the harmonica, but it works for me haha
@@VanillaDin0saur the chemistry between John and Roseanne was so natural and perfect, there will never be a couple that has that much natural chemistry on a TV show* as they did. That entire cast of the OG run is unmatched. Roseanne truly was one of the, if not the, greatest shows of all time.
John Goodman is one hell of a comedian and singer, He can really belt out those notes and he has the most sexyest voice I've ever heard and plus he's a damn riot! lol..
It could be a tribute to the Blues Brothers, but in fairness, it might also just be because the show takes place in Lanford, which is supposed to be a suburb of Chicago.
If John were an 'unknown', he could come out on America's Got Talent or The X-Factor .. or any of those shows, really .. and win. Flat. Out. Win. And Simon Cowell would have John signed to a record deal before the finals even aired.
