How My Neighbors Influenced My Life | Usha Uthup

When I grew up in Bombay, I really never knew any difference in religion Never I grew up with Muslims with pathans is my neighbors. And I was so involved with Jameela, and, you know, my neighbors, my brothers used to tease me and say, she goes to school, she becomes a christian nun, she goes to the neighbors, she becomes a Muslim. And you know, I was really, really influenced by my neighbors. I mean, I learned how to stitch shalwar kameez. From them, I make the best shalwars in the world, even though I say so myself, because the shalwar don't go like, it goes straight. So if you feel like clapping, pop singer stitching. I think that's a great thing, and I'm very, very proud of that.
