Wow great video and so easy to get across from Benidorm. We popped over to Finestrat for the first time last year on bus and loved it. We are staying in the bay this August and are going to rent some bikes to dip in and out of Benidorm as it's so close and didn't realise it was a cycle route most of the way! Benidorm has so much to offer with all the surrounding areas you can walk, bus or bike to. Looking forward to the other videos in the area :)

A'reyt Lucy. I have done that journey on foot. I never got through the old town so quickly though, without your super powers. At that far end, I enjoyed seeing how different Carrefour was to shopping back home. The fresh fish reminded me of city fish markets as a kid, for example, with a seafood smell, like you mentioned.
Well lovley blog again its nice to walk that way or on a bus .But next time iam in benidorm i might get a bike as you see more keep safe and keep smiling
I stayed in La Cala hotel in May and we walked all the way to new town and back a couple of times, we did the tour bus too for a day when we wanted to see the sights, jumped off in new town and walked back, good walk if you have the time to just wander xx

Thanks Lucy…. We’ve hired bikes from Tao- on your recommendation and done this ride. Very civilised, the cycle lanes on poniente are superb. (We made the mistake of sticking to the beach front which meant we had to walk our bikes up & over those steep roads to get to La Cala…🥵) next time we’ll stick to the cycle lanes! Also, thanks for the link- I’ve been after a new water bottle- this fits the bill perfectly! Mines now on its way!🥰

Yes, I've been on the Open-Top tourist bus, done a few UA-cam Vlogs with this, so please feel free to check those out on my channel. There was a change too Lucy, for you and your viewers to take note. I am thinking it possibly may have something to do with the time we caught the buses, rather than which bus stop we set off from, though it's now a 24H tarjeta (card) and you can get other tariffs too. So best to double check Lucy with either the website or the info on the bus stop. You need to catch this just outside the Taj Mahal Takeaway on Ametlla de Mar. It could take you to Cala Finnestrat OR it could take you to L'Albir. I look forward to seeing your Tourist Bus Vlogs, take care Lucy xx
Yes I have been on the open top bus great for topping up the tab and to see areas you haven't seen before especially old town end .Had to laugh though the bus we were on the buzzer upstairs didn't work to get off long story short we ended up going round twice ! We didn't care !
Lucy the sun newspaper on Saturday reported 2 guys were talked to by the police about drinking a bottle of wine on the beach as illegal. And they also said about a crackdown on no smoking on beach £1.700 fine . On the last video you commented that you can on the beach. Is this just the papers winding up the holiday season again? Loves your channel me & the wife will go up the triangle next time we’re there. About 3 times a year. Stay safe 👍x
The problem is the papers don't do any proper research. They probably just Google it and see that you can be fined for smoking on beaches in Spain and run with that. Not taking into account that each town is different and has different rules and laws. Its not a one size fits all for every beach in Spain. It's not prohibited to smoke on Benidorm beaches, but you can be fined for dropping fag butt's as you can for any sort of litter. Drinking has been illegal on Benidorms beaches for a long time, as is drinking in any public street. As you will have seen the police do not really enforce this. But glass bottles on the beach can be dangerous and therefore yeah the police may well get on you for that.
2 months til we come. Your seat looks a bit low, you're gonna bugger your knees up! I'm hiring a bike for 10 days from marco polo, will be doing loads of kms :) Last time we came it rained most of week so was a bit of a disaster for the cycling. Cant wait to see some new paths and up to the cross for the first time

Every year do the Tour Buses, 30 & 31, amazing how the drivers get round some of the streets, especially round Altea.

We went here this may for two weeks, lovely beach, laid back atmosphere and just a bus ride if you want the benidorm nightlife
