Mom looks beautiful and I pray she heals totally and all pain removed 🙏 I crushed a vertebra when I was young and although there are ways to put a balloon in it and fill it with cement to build it back up (not sure what that procedure is called) that procedure has to be done within 18 mos and my injury was very old by then. I probably have some of the aches and pains from my original accident. And I get relief with moving, hot tubs, chiropractors and staying as stress free as possible and of course sleeping if possible. Your hair is so fresh and your hair dresser is superb!! Blessings to you and Mom!

Love the scenery/view of your new apartment and your computer setup. I love your blonde highlights. I also have blonde highlights now and used to work in TV. A little girl gave me a compliment at the airport and kids don't lie (lol) Even your dog is beautiful....what breed is your pup? Loved watching this. Did Ceron tone your blonde or was that straight out of the foil? Also when it is wet, it doesn’t seem super curly. Has that calmed down a little? As a hairstylist it is fun to watch him use the different tools. Where did he get his cosmetology education?

Dominique, if I can share a comment, I must say the manner in which you honor your mother is so beautiful, respectful and loving. A practice that seems to be forgotten as time has passed and it "seems" many individuals in the world have become so lax and self-centered in nurturing their relationships. The gift of the presence of parents and grandparents in our lives is invaluable. As a young girl my, "Nana" was a constant in my life, and I doubt I would be who I am today had she not cared for and loved me unconditionally. God Bless you and your lovely mother. xo

I lost my last Gramma, 85yo, in February of last year. She was my moms mom. She was also a constant in my life, all thru childhood and into college. My mother is a nurse and 2 days a week my gramma would pick me up from school, it was such a treat!! We'd get ice cream, go to the store and sometimes a movie. As child, those were the most magical times!! And in college I would see her on weekends, routinely.
She was able to live alone into her late 70s and then she fell. Broke her shoulder. We are all in the medical field, nurses and doctors. My aunt was able to move in with her and help care for her, she is a retired RN. She had covid and never really got over it. She was able to die at home with all of us around her, which was what she wanted. She was full of love and wisdom and I miss her dearly 💖

Dominique, I enjoyed seeing your mother and listening to her challenges as a senior. I’m in my late 60’s and I can totally relate to her frustration with technology. She shouldn’t feel incompetent because it’s not uncommon for some of us seniors to feel frustrated with technology. We didn’t have it growing up and our minds and not wired the same as a person who grew up with all of this technology. She’s a sweetheart and I would love for her to share her childhood stories with us. Her apartment is beautiful just like her. Classy and elegant!!❤️
Why are we all expected to be the same? I hate technology and am not ashamed or embarrassed to admit it., I didn’t like it when I was younger and I don’t like it now.

Coloring my hair improves the texture as well. The Grey root areas are dry and less flexible and less strong for me. The color and pre and post condition gives the hair bounce and shine and fullness. Looks young and fresh. I always feel and look younger.

It’s wonderful that you and your mom are so very close. Your mom has done well with her recovery. I myself welcomed in the new year with a compression fracture of my T11 vertebrae and the ct scan showed I had an old fracture of the T 7. Being a nurse and a get it done type person I have always just pushed through issues and kept going. I have to say this time the pain has stopped me dead in my tracks. I can empathize with your mom. Continued prayers for her.
How do you know which hair color suits you best? You seem to transition so easily back and forth and look equally stunning both ways. Not sure it is the same for us mere mortals haha. My natural color is similar to yours. I was blonde for 25 years and everyone loved it, but finally made the change back to my natural color last summer. After some trial and error, the shade seems to really work best with my strong eyes and eyebrows (Italian, Greek, Middle Eastern descent). However, seeing you go back to lighter is giving me the itch. Also my stylist just moved out of state so I don't really have an expert to ask. Thoughts?

Mom's hair in the fluffy Pixi cut is adorable. Been a fan for around 6 years, I wrote a letter to you once but didn't send it. In a nut shell it said thank you for teaching me I could be proud of my beauty and celebrate myself, to set time for self care after generations of women in my country were told to be humble, serve everyone else 1st and not to be in love with yourself or vain! Confidence wasn't instilled in me, yet at 40, I picked it up off of you. Forever grateful. I no longer walk looking down at the floor xxx
