- If you want to transfer your playlists and songs from Apple Music to Spotify, thankfully, there's an app that lets you do that. In fact, it can do the other way around, or transfer between a number of different popular services like Tidal, UA-cam Music, Pandora and other.

Idk if you ever figured it out but I wanted to do that same thing and transfer my whole apple library to a Spotify playlist! All I had to do was select song instead of playlist and it gave me the option of transferring all 1080 of my songs at once 😮💨

This is incredible, love the video thank you. So quick and straight to the point. I love Apple music for the lossless/dolby atmos audio BUT Spotify is a much nicer plays for branching out a playlist imo plus the 'suggested' music options/playlists are more to my taste.

Im sooooo loyal to Spotify and I've been using it back before it was even available in my county (using a proxy)
But I'm so deep into the apple eco-system so I'm looking at shifting to apply music, mainly for the lossless quality.

Out of curiosity, what did you not like about apple music that makes you want to switch? I also had a couple month free Apple Music but I haven't even opened the app yet haha!
I have had each for an equal amount of years. I was loyal to Spotify for a long time, then I switched to Apple only because I managed to use the full length of my student discount haha.
(Playlists) Spotify definitely has better playlists, hands down. Public playlists on A.M. are random and horrible.

(Quality) I've listened to both with premium accounts to test the waters and Apple is significantly better.. makes my ears tickle? :v

(Podcasts) I can't decide which I prefer for podcasts. Yes, there is a separate podcast app for Apple ik. However, I can't tell whether I enjoy how Spotify has all-in-one or if I enjoy focusing on JUST music on A.M... For the time being I am using Spotify only for podcasts.

(Design) In *MY* opinion, the tabs showing "artists, playlists, etc." makes the app look too cluttered. Maybe I'm just old and am getting aggravated all these buttons but goddamn I can't play COD without accidentally clicking some shark dabbing skin/emote. Plus Apple has big ass buttons.

By all of that, Apple has 2 out 3 points for me.
tldr; Apple Music for the quality - Spotify for the playlists/podcasts
I am debating this month if I'll switch back to Spotify since I've used up my student discount on Apple as well lol, godspeed!

Assuming you need a Spotify premium account first. But when switching from Apple to Spotify can you select all songs and albums as well?
I followed the directions precisely to go from spotify to apple music. it created the playlist in my apple music app title and everything but didn't transfer any of the songs. Anyone know why?

what if you want to use both, if I trasnfer from apple music to spotify will it delete my apple music one since i trasnferred it to spotify?
No, it doesn't delete anything. It essentially just reads which songs are in your playlists, finds them in the other service, and builds you the same playlist in the new one with the songs it found.

Can somebody help me ? It isn’t working for me .. the app isn’t asking abt my Apple Music library and don’t ask the permission for it. I just click on next and then they say I should start to transfer the songs. Idk what to do would be nice if somebody could help me with this👍🏻👍🏻

If we have to transfer more than 1 playlist it asks for premium

i did 2 different playlist transfers and they say completed but they didn’t transfer
other than the fact that when you have a playlist over 200 songs it wont transfer unless you purchase premium

one thing about the app is it doesn’t always work, for example it deleted one of my playlists when transferring it from spotify to apple music

Yes All the songs you transfer from Apple Music to Spotify will stay in apple music as well.

Does it also work with songs I got on Itunes, but aren't available on Spotify? I don't wanna give up the Mario Odyssey soundtrack if I don't have to.
Sadly the way it works is it scans your Apple Music library, then scans your destination service (Spotify) for matching tracks and adds the matches to a playlist. It doesn't physically move those files across.

My Apple Music has been clitching a lot, can’t play music I’ve downloaded, can only play music I haven’t downloaded when I have Wi-Fi.
