  • Pasha stopping by to demonstrate the differences between a $10,000 violin and a $33 Glarry violin. Can YOU hear the difference?
    Go show Pasha some love:
    / leonpavel98
    And check out a Glarry violin, which at the very least, is great furniture for $33 that will make you seem sophisticated, which is how I'm using it:

    A little about me:
    Sean Daniel is a man. A man of simple needs and desires. And the one desire, no, the one NEED, that stands above all is to spread the challenges, joy and intellectual stimulus of music to people of Earth and beyond.
    Born on the mean streets of upper middle class suburban Chicago, Sean learned the ways of the world through the dizzying heights of success to the lonesome depths of failure and emerged with the promise of a better tomorrow reflecting in his eyes and fiery passion in his belly.
    He plays and teaches guitar on his UA-cam channel where he regularly releases original music and projects to the adulation of legions of fans, who often compare him to Chris Pratt and one time Ryan Reynolds. He’s currently in the market for a nice leather jacket.

    Should've played the cheap one with the bow that came with it. (I'd bet Pasha's regular bow is at *least* an order of magnitude more expensive than the cheap violin.)

      @@garyreidmusic Yeah, I only thought about it because I just bought a new bow for my daughter, and just that bow was more expensive than most of my guitars. (She really liked that bow, though, so I guess it's worth it. It did make a difference.)

    This really shows how a great musician can make a very entry level instrument sound pretty good, considering. Nice playing Pasha.

    I am amazed at the $30 violin. It actually sounds playable and okay for a beginner to use for the first year or so of learning. I had actually assumed that it would be so scratchy or not even playable (not being able to tune etc.) that it was completely unplayable.
    I had always assumed playable violins started at about 300 $.

    Wow that Glarry GV101 violin sounds amazing despite bridge being way too high. I bet if the bridge was sized correctly, nut adjusted etc, it will sound even better! Based on this review, I bought Glarry GV101 and it's really fantastic. I like my Glarry violin far more than my "official" violin from a professional violin shop that I played for quite a few years.

  • @uhoh007
    @uhoh007 4 роки тому +1

    A minute to setup? Are you high? Plan for 2-3 hours to do it decently. The bridge needs to shaped first, the violin is not ready to play out of the box! Both string width at nut (16mm) and bridge (33mm) must be measured G to E. Bridge feet must be shaped to fit violin body. Then string height, make the G 5.5mm and the E 3.5mm at end of fretboard by carving a curve on bridge (radius 43mm) so E is lower. There are videos. That's normal. It's a good deal.

Violin was delivered today... it is not a Glarry violin... it is called "Music Grade Violin" by Music Funny Toy... it runs on 3 AA batteries and is for ages 8+... Advice to those looking to save money... Buy the Glarry violin from the Glarry website... Not from places like Tophatter...
