Astral Chain - Aether Speedkill - 35 seconds (IGT, Glitchless)

8th September 2020: Glitch discovered that allows infinite skill usage: / new_glitch_of_infinite... . Would mean could have 100% uptime on Power Charge instead of around 66-75% of the time.
Alright so basically:
Same gear, just cheesing the in-game timer because it sucks (seems to start timing from the first hit the player lands). Probably my last attempt unless someone beats it (which no one is really interested in), which is somewhat unlikely because of my super good gear, and the crit rng involved (if all hits were stacked crits we are looking at like 20 seconds).
Crash Bomb damage is calculated when it is planted, not when it detonates. This means that the idea to plant 4 Crash Bombs without touching Aether using Axe with Quick Cooldown and some animation cancelling, then switching the build to the berserk/crit one using the menu (which doesn't count towards IGT) and getting 4 crits of ~4.8k damage (for a total of 19.2k damage) in the first second is sadly impossible. Could still use 1 Crash Bomb but probably not worth it.
Was trying to use Speed Star but it didn't get activated in time (I've had it work on other runs though). It would have made the first 17 seconds be 14 seconds instead and (like in other runs) mess with positioning so maybe not worth using. Power Charge seems to last 10 seconds only (?) so was thinking of switching to another legion to use it instead of just using Axe until CD was ready but oh well probably not worth it. Could be faster if she uses the Halo Laser move since it is immune to stun during that = can do 2 gladius combos.

It's a skill that the Axe legion can learn - "Blue Shield"

In a very broad sense yes, but theres a bit more to it. I'll spare the long explanation but you don't ONLY want Berserk, you want the best combination you have of Attack, Berserk, Crit Chance, and Crit Damage.You can use excel or a calculator to find the optimal arrangement of what you have. Fortitude on the other legion (with effect spread because the vortex move desummons legion) to stay at 1 HP - but then if you mess up you will die instantly. There are a bunch of other things contributing like Power Charge and the drink too.

@@Abarax I noticed all that but the optimal combo. I thought that since berserk adds more damage you want that, but indeed you'd have to calculate..so what's the golden ratio?

@@Zafoshin Depends on what you have and whether you are attacking from behind or not.

@@Abarax maan the worst part in this otherwise great game is the abilities...you can have up to 10k with no way to sort for bonus traits or a find function.

@@Zafoshin The cap is 1000 not 10k. But yeah, a better sorting or better yet, saved loadouts would be nice.
