I haven’t been in Buchanan Galleries for ages. I think I’ll go in tomorrow and have a wee wander about “the toon”. Your video gave me a warm glow. Nowhere in the world like Glasgow. 🤗
I left Glasgow for sunny Australia in 1970 - always wanted to go back to visit. a walking tour of the shops not just historic sites is great. - ps -I speed it up a wee bit - now tis a bustley walk in the rain.
You will be bitterly disappointed when you do get round to visit. City Centre is full of junkies, people lying in doorways buzzing gas, fake beggars and fake homeless, litter , graffiti big puddles of vomit. Dump
Thanks for posting this I feel I’m there back in the town time I got my ass back into town and support the shops been so used to buying off Amazon since this pandemic begun one time I was never out of the centre shopping so miss it
I lived in Glasgow 88-92. I went to theatre school there in Knightswood and we lived at the halls of residence at St. Andrews College in Bearsden. I've lived in the USA since then but came back during COVID thinking I'd move back to Glasgow. I lived there in Merchant City, right by Connolly's Bar for 8 months; August 2020 to March 2021. Lockdown was really tough and I got very homesick for Florida and decided to come back but I do miss Glasgow something terrible. Your video was made literally right as I was about to leave. Thanks for posting. I've watched many of your videos as it is the next best thing to actually being there. Can I request that you do a "wee walk" by Knightswood Secondary and the Anniesland train station area?? That would be awesome. Cheers!
I was one of the lucky ones - the lockdowns ended up making my life better - got a better job - better work/home life balance - better wages - i got a lot of thinks more in perspective - i feel bad for those whose life it damaged though and there were many

You chill out Mrs and dont be speeding everything up - lifes too short to be speeding everything up - relax - just sit back and go with the flow
Awesome to see another city. I am also loving this just as background noise too. It's kinda relaxing.
