ACID FOLK was born in a garage off Clinton Ave in Toronto by a few Cowboy Junkies Tom Wilson from Blackie and the Rodeo Kings and a few Skydiggers..Allowing bottom end (bass) and hypnotic rhythms into the groups songwriting circle to make a sound that creeps out of the Northern woods and across the Great Lakes into the South the same way the Band did 40 years before....
A Quiet Evil is the 1st release by the artist collective LeE HARVeY OsMOND...
The group will be represented by a live combo that will always include Tom Wilson on guitar and vocals...
With either drums and percussion or as a full 5 piece band LeE HARVeY OsMOND will take every audience on their "Trip"....The c.d comes out on Latent records(Cowboy Junkies label) in '09 and LeE will be doing dates with the Junkies throughout the U.S. to support the release...A QUIET EVIL also comes out in France this summer

I saw Tom at Ottawa BluesFest 2009 last week, and became an immediate fan.
Checking out all the other stuff now...Rodeo Kings and JunkHouse.
Now, for all you other fans...if you like him, you might wanna check out "JJ Cale".
You know...Eric Clapton's favourite artist, who composed such gems as "Cocaine", "After Midnight", etc...
Hope I taught you something new, and you enjoy "JJ Cale" as much as Tom Wilson.

It's wierd but this video makes me remember
Edmonton, when I was a kid. The streets look so familiar!!!!!!!!the head coach of the "Edmonton Eskimoes" lived across the road. This video has the same colour palette as "Pleasantville". And that greeeen suit sets it all off!
