I have 5 of them some got for 29.95 on Amazon. I keep one in the bedroom the colors are fantastic red blur aqua etc more colors are coming just waiting for the good price. I can’t believe the audio out of this speaker 110-20,000khz awesome response for the size. The clip 4 another great speaker but the GO 3 is the best value for the dollar.
I was thinking this might be great for bike rides too. Compact, lightweight, you can wash the mud off, 5hours would be plenty for most. Vs earphones, when you’re out on the trials i like the idea people hear you coming on cycle/footpaths. Walkers don’t move out the way quick enough if they don’t hear you coming until the last minute.
We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.
While im a couple of yrs behind your review, I can honestly say JBL GO is the way to go. I had the GO 2 for the shower until it got charging issues, so I upgraded to the 3 without hesitation.. I found the sound very good for small size, the GO 3 is surprisingly strong, my ferrets keep stealing it, off my bath ledge, and its handling the knocks well. Loved your review. 😃
I have jbl go first generation I bought it 3 years ago and still playing good, but battery is not that good as before. Yesterday I bought jbl go 3 and wow that sound quality is awesome.

Best speaker for that price tag don't hesitate if u want to buy it Sound quality perfect(the bass omg) Design perfect Durability perfect Plus it's half of the size of my phone you can carry it everywhere
On Android it shows a battery percentage of a bluetooth device when connected, though it only shows it in the bluetooth settings, good to know for any device that does not show battery life such as this JBL speakers 😬.
Very impressed with the sound of this for the money. Goes with me when I shower and conveniently hangs on the towel hook! It won't fill a big room, and would be lost outside but I love it. Only issue I had is that if put on the flat side opposite the JBL branding, it will vibrate across any flat surface. Probably not an issue at lower volumes, but something to consider.
Sorry that I'm late to the party. Amazing review! Love these both. I went for the Go 3 for the form factor as it stands up on my desk, unlike the Clip 4. I'm ok with the battery life of the Go 3 as it is better than advertised and I get more than twice that because I listen at very low volumes. Also, picked it up when it was on sale for $30, and the Clip 4 at the time, wast $80, so that made it easy. I got a blue one for myself and a red one for my girls bedroom. Thanks again. You earned a sub! Now I need your help between picking the iPhone SE3 (128 gb) or the Mini 13 (128 gb). Cheers!
I wanted a good sounding, durable, small speaker to fit in my back pocket while at work. I was hesitant since i bought a "renewed" jbl go 3 from Amazon for $25. It came like 4 days later and its amazing. Its exactly what I needed.
Same here. I replaced my GO1 because the battery started going. I'm thoroughly impressed. I feel JBL gave a low battery estimate though, I'm getting like 7-8 hours out at 50% volume
I just got this as a Xmas gift. Looks amazing and sounds so loud and clear. The look is rugged and beautiful. If you need a speaker That's for travel or home or bathroom, that's cheap get this you won't be disappointed
School substitute here! A fellow sub had brought their JBL to school to use in the classroom for music, and I was immediately impressed by how well this thing works! Needless to say I just retired my Altec Lansing speaker to shower use and ordered one of these. I hope to use this as a classroom and everyday use speaker!
I have the jbl clip 4 and I love it. I'm a bit of an audiopphile and I think it sounds great. I just bought the jbl go 3 for my son so we both have speakers when we go out on our scooters. I'm looking forward to seeing how the go 3 compares to the clip 4. I bought this for $27 on Amazon today.

Do not make the same mistake I did and buy the Bose Soundlink Micro. I returned it for, what I consider, design flaws. I then bought this JBL Go 3 and am happy. The sound is relative comparable though not as loud. If I need loud I'll use my Flip 3's.
I always thought that Bose are just mark up products. Never did like them. I was in a club back in the 80’s large club as that and I ask the waitresses what kind of speakers was the club use And she said Bose. And those speakers sound like crap very distorted and I have listened to other Bose never like them never will
i have that go3 color black i play it for 3 hrs 20mins for maximum volume 100% its easy go carry so small and good speaker for chill music i enjoy very much.👍
Battery life for men is superrrrr long. I have been playing it on 50% volume it’s lasted 12 hours so far, not needed 1 charge. I don’t know if they put the wrong battery in mine but it’s been very impressive
I just finally decided to purchase this JBL GO3 today Sunday February 20th 2022. I figured that I should get one before they disappear and add it to my JBL collection. I already have the JBL GO2 and the JBL CLIP3 & CLIP4. All of mine are in the blue color and so the JBL GO3 that I just purchased is also blue. Thanks for posting this informative video.
@@ramondelgado6778 The sound quality on the CLIP4 is also much better and that's why I own two of the CLIP4. Definitely go with the CLIP4 it's a great Bluetooth Speaker.
Great video and review Mark. I have this Go 3 and the Charge 5 which fills every use I can think of. NB: The Charge 5 is insanely good. Try one out, they are almost unbelievably good.
I just received my jbl flip 6 a couple of days ago and really impressed. I am thinking if getting another one and selling two speakers that I don't really need or use and take up soace and are heavy.I just ordered the JBL go 3 for 40 euros new, will use it in my car for waze and phone calls cos my smartphone is so quiet for waze and phonecalls for some reason. And I dont want to splash out on a big gps unit and paying for installation. 40 euros is good for me. Thanks for the review.

One of my computer speaker stopped working. I picked this up on a whim. This is a great little speaker. Very good sound and you can push the volume without any distortion. There are more expensive speakers that I'm sure sound amazing...but for me and the cost of this unit it's all I need for computer use. Definitely glad I purchased this speaker. BTW...good review...I've seen lots of people complaining you didn't do an audio test during the review. The heck with them. They don't understand in person sound doesn't translate well via UA-cam.
Great Review... I have an UE Boom which has been great but I’ve been looking something a little smaller and not as powerful just for throwing in my Cabin Bag for Travel for my Hotel Room etc... Or just on the go... I always liked the Size and Sound of the Go 2 and was looking at the new Clip 4 too but after watching your Review I think the GO 3 seems like a better option for me. Is it actually waterproof? Because most speakers that say are waterproof take a crap when you submerge them. Ecogear is the only speakers I've been happy with that is actually waterproof and I can take to the pool or the beach without a problem. The only issue is the sound quality is not amazing but actually not terrible. Also the battery life is usually amazing also.
LOL had to laugh when I heard your main use of the speaker, I have an older version and the only time I ever use it is exactly the same. Have you come across the JBL Clip 4, it states it has a 10 hour battery life. Would be interesting to see if it's sound is as good as the Go 3.

I just got mine brand new today and at high volumes of bass, it crackles. Is this normal? Do I have to wait till it breaks in? Or did I get a defective item and I should return it?
Brother just got his last month and came back from work today and the charger cord melted and fused with the speaker. I recommend you be cautious if you buy this speaker.

Haha - it's still in my bathroom. It's so good for that purpose. And no, I haven't tried the Clip yet, although I'm sure I will at some stage.

My one sounds a bit crackly when I listen to songs with deep bass, not sure if it’s not meant for that or is it just my price that’s defective.
But only last 4 hours on one charge 😠 u have to keep it plugged if you want great functionality out of it.

Because there is no way in any way shape or form that you can judge how loud a speaker is unless you’re in the same room as it, mate.
