My friends, Association is very helpful. I used to stand 17th position in my class (class 12) and once I used this association technique where every concepts that I learnt in chemistry and physics helped me stood 2nd in the class. Thank you. My accent is mixed. I have a few American and British friends. So I speak many words in Indian accent. I try to speak clearly (not always possible, I try my best). And then, I speak some words in British accent and some in American accent (because I learn from my friends). That's why I call it a mixed accent! The important thing I have learnt is that whatever accent you speak, your goal should be to speak with clarity. That's an ongoing goal for me.

Yes, it's not that easy, especialy in the beginning. In your case, start with 10 minutes time slot. Practice single-tasking. Do this for a few times, and slowly increase the duration. The key is to practice. As mentioned in the video, take it as a project :-)
