Modding Stock Block Trackhawks over 900+AWHP

Some get lucky, some don’t.
It happens and you just need to have a plan if it does.
Built motors will need supporting parts. Most build in stages. Starter pack:
E85, 1300x injectors, 2.85 upper, 10% lower, cat back, plugs and legmaker. You’re sitting over 900awhp easily.
That’s when you want more power. Maybe a ported blower, ported snout, headers, cam or heads, etc… Some quick bang for your buck bolt ons.
More air, more efficient boost and you’re hooked.
You now want to drop a pulley size for more boost bc whatever reason.
After that first 900+ mods and you begin stacking all those smaller mods on top over time.
Eventually you could be doing a pull one day or just leaving a parking lot with some boost.
It decides to throw a rod, it just happens to some. Maybe not to all, but some. I’m just saying plan on it possibly happening to you once you’ve topped 900+. Stock blocks can only take so much.
Think about your fuel delivery, maintenance and fuel content for your specific tune you have installed.
My first motor, I boosted it while it was still cold on e85 and it sent a rod to God.
This 400 Stroker most possibly a fuel issue.
It was on me, with either clogged fuel filter, clogged injectors or fuel content.
I’ve only run e85 and never 93 thru the system to clean my injectors. The fuel system and filter were still stock with e85 flowing last 27k miles.
Whatever it was, it happened a 2nd time for me.
I beat on this motor quite often, so it did it’s job.
So, just be prepared for that Grim Reaper when he comes knocking.
Motor, Trans, Rear, transfer case, axles are going to take a beating if you race it often, so be prepared for those expenses soon enough. 😁
