Even more crazy....at a previous auction a Ford Fiesta Supersport went for £20k. I'd never heard of that particular model never mind seeing one but they're just a tarted up Fiesta with fancy graphics. But the crazy part about it is the one which went through the auction had been up for sale at a dealers for £10k a few month previous.

THANKS ACA, Another Great Auction. I saw 2 or 3 Cars i would have Loved to Have bought. I Like the Modernish Low Mileage EVERYDAY Cars. They are SO CHEAP it's Bonkers ! Astra £1700 ? 2 options with that car, 1) Park it in a Warm Garage & Make Money. 2) Use it as A MINT Daily Driver for a few years. & Still it will retain Some Value If well Maintained. It can ONLT GO UP in Value IF USED or Stored. The Mercedes SLK's Were Dirt Cheap at that Mileage, Once again Store Away OR Use Daily For a Bargain Weekend Car. Most of the Cars are Lock away & Store For the Future. I would buy an Escort or Astra as a Daily user, Then Buy a Weekend Car , ? MG, TR7, SLK, etc. £2500 for a Daily User & £17,500 for a weekend Toy. ( as Per a Very Low Classic Budget ) Similar to buying a Modern Heap of Junk. £20 k .
Some where sold for a civil price. And some for crazy price. I'm in Ireland. Any cars over 20 years old are getting expensive due to cheap classic insurance. Mid 90s are rising fast
Was that landcrab ever in one of the classic motor magazine? The one I read about was a 2 litre engine yes it had oversiized pistons and went very well I love those cars
