When I was pregnant with my first my number one craving was a BLT - I ate one everyday for lunch. This is bringing back those memories and I'm totally desperate to make it properly!!
Oh yes, this looks great. The idea of using thin bacon is something I have been doing since living in Germany. Aldi bacon is the perfect thickness and tastes great.

HAH! You stole my secret!! Alfalfa sprouts just make a BLT. If you don't have tomatoes some time, just try a BSC (Bacon Sprout Cheese) sandwich. Also amazing. Great video. Thanks.

That looks dang good. I am going to have to try your oven bacon. I have seen others come out with white slime bacon fat. Yours looked just right. They did cook it higher though.
Off topic: heart diet requiring chicken and fish...my wife does tilapia very well, so we tried Cod. It was tough and had no flavor. Flaking, not positive but doesn’t taste like LJ Silver’s cod at all. What can we do to expand our fish diet. I do like your Salmon recipe. Can you help?
I wanted to jump into that screen and steal the half of BLT you weren't eating. BTW, do you grow your own alfalfa sprouts? I can't get them in my area markets anymore. They only carry broccoli and onion sprouts. Just not the same on a sandwich of any kind. If you grow them, I would love to see a video on how to.
Super easy to grow sprouts. I picked up a sprouting lid that’s fits a wide mouth canning jar (was only a few dollars). Put a couple Tablespoons alfalfa seeds into the jar cover with water (just takes a few inches). Soak overnight. Pour water off and set jar in a sunny window. Rinse and drain 3-4 times a day. Don’t let them dry out. I usually sprout mine to about 1 1/2 inches long. When they are done put them in the fridge. Hope that was helpful.
I have prime ribeyes ready for supper and my mouth is watering over your BLT! Well done.
