Thank you for posting that vlog on the IMAP sensor. I had the same problem and replaced my sensor today and the light had not returned. I also just ordered my PTI tuner, not only does it give you that boost in power but the fault code erased and forced regen. Priceless. Ty again and keep the vlogs coming. BTW I subscribed.

I’m gonna look into the Bosch HDS 250, I have a CanDo HD Code ll that even after updating it on their website can’t gain access to the 2021 Peterbilt, Cummins.

@@truckingandfixing having a hard time choosing between a Volvo with a D13 vs a Pete with a Cummins! These are my 2 favorite trucks. Volvo for the comfort and Pete for the looks lol. I live in Tucson Az. I have a Volvo dealer and Peterbilt and Cummins shops in town. I see a lot of Cummins shop all over the country and Volvo not so much. It seems like Cummins are more open with all their info…. Thanks again
And I’ve been doing a lot of research on and watched hours of videos on the Volvo d13’s I’m pretty familiar with them without even owning one.

Yes, I typically don't do any 34's on the road, except for when my schedule accommodates it ( i.e. waiting for a Monday delivery over a weekend, or waiting for a confirmed load that pays well, etc.) Other than that, I run on Recap hours and have never really had an issue with running out of 70 hour time. I will be doing a time management video to go along with my calculating costs video to cover this topic soon. Thanks for watching and for the comment!
Never drive more than 8-9 hrs a day then run recaps.
@@travis3676 never do total on duty/drive for more than 9:15. Usually never works out that way for me though usually always on a tight schedule.

Do you know if this tool Clear Emission Derates red light? What prevent the truck move more than 15 miles per hour.
I have not yet had that problem, so I cannot comment if this tool can clear it. But if you have that issue you can unhook or disconnect EGR temperature sensor and it will disable the emission system. Apologies for the delay!
Have you ever spoken on your truck tuner? Would like to see how it works.
I have not made a video on it yet, I will probably have to wait until I get home to use a different camera to show the screen, it has a bad reflection and glare using my cellphone camera. So hopefully I will have that out in the next week or two. Thanks for watching and for the comment!

What's the difference between the Bosch and the PDI what is more useful
PDI is a performance and monitoring tool. While, Bosch is a service tool which can clear codes. PDI doesn’t clear some codes
Just got mine today. I hooked it up and the scr intake temp said 32 degrees. Everything else was 80. Which was the outside temp. Should I replace that sensor? What does it do?

sorry for the long delay. Planned to reply to you the other day, then something came up and I totally forgot about it. Normally there is no code for it. first, check for the lose wire, if wire is good, just replace the temp sensor.

Can I use this tool to adjust company speed restrictions. My company sets all our trucks at 65mph it’s so annoying. I’m looking for a scan tool that can change this problem
You cannot use this tool to adjust the speed. It will be more money to spend to be able to change the speed. My PDI can change it.

No, you cannot do a manual regen with this tool. But you can consider a PDI for manual regen.

No, it won't. It is just a code reader and it can clear the code as well. It will not do command.

I am not sure! Never tried it on a CAT engine. Only on Cummins and Paccar

I have never tried it on a Detroit engine. Sorry, I cannot confirm. If you are looking for a scanning tool, OTR performance might be an option. I know it works with Detroit engine.
