- Here is the Tormented demon guides and an overview of Bone Claws, the Scorching bow, Emberlight and Purging staff! These are really fun to fight despite all the bugs surrounding them. A lot of unique weapons you wouldn't think are good here work incredibly well, blowpipe, dharoks axe, abyssal dagger, etc. Exploiting their weaknesses can get you easily in the realm of 60kph for about 10m gp/hr currently, with a nasty 60k slayer xp/hr on top. I hope to see Jagex pull more ideas from RS3 and refine them to better suit OSRS. The Triple Kill CA isn't too hard, everywhere is just crowded so it makes it hard to complete. It'll take you a few tries but overall, not too difficult if you are comfortable flicking and fighting one demon at a time.

Majority of bugs have been fixed, weapons and what not do correct damage now. Burning claws are now bis DPS over Abby dagger slightly and there are now 2 TDs in most of the caves, you can get closer to 70 kph alternating demons now fairly easily. Burning claws have had some bugs fixed as well, xarpus no longer kills you and verzik no longer heals on p2.
100% accuracy is gone, did 2 trips with BP. Absolutely awful now.

Welp, I hope this is a bug, and gets fixed ASAP. Otherwise I and thousands of others have to modify our strategy, as blowpipe is now useless.

I saw Aatty at a grocery store in London yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front, I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first, he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Aaty going into accusations of merching an under 100M item about someone who hasn't even gone out and said "they're great buy them" but spent hours playtesting and calcing to give everyone the solid numbers to go off of and pointing out all places they're bugged in and might be good if fixed but are not currently is wild and disappointing
Gnome has 15 Shadow drops. He doesn't need to merch.

Just check Aatys VODs. He spends hours of his stream shit talking Gnome. Telling people he's view farming and lying on his guides and not to ever use them. Said Kirby and Gnome lied about calcs but then posted a video saying "oh actually they are kind of good, Kirby was right". And convinced his chat there was alternate motives for gnome "peddling" Bone Claws but also Mixed hide etc. all kinds of toxic behavior @@VegaMK2

Thankyou for all the testing you did with the new claws. I was initially upset with them because I thought that with the nerf to its base stab, idiotic name change, and the way calcs was showing it to behave, I was really worried the devs bent to the people calling for it to be nerfed so Dclaws wouldn't be "devalued". In this case I'm happy to have been proven wrong. Their name is even getting changed back to "Burning Claws" come Wednesday.
I watch you vids and I'm absolutely amazed on how easily you destroy hard content! Keep up the great work and thank you for always sharing your wisdom in game!

No hate towards Aaty but dude needs to be humbled. Its been multiple times when new content comes out, acts like he knows everything and when something is suggested during a new update he tries to make you look dumb only for it to end up actually being meta later on. His attitude needs to change in that aspect, its been multiple times he's done this in the past about time someone addresses it. Appreciate the videos @Gnomonkey keep up the content.
Aaty did nothing wrong he gave his opinion he didn’t back track he considered what Kirby had said but then put it to facts like he stated on paper is different to scenarious you are going to be in and we’re the claws can be utilized so what’s he done wrong?
@@Knightsking917 I don't know, amplifying the unfounded idea that Gnomonkey was lying about bone claws to merch them seems pretty irresponsible to me. If someone was talking about me when they said that lying to thousands of people for osrs or irl money "sounds like something he would do", I know that I would be pretty hurt and want an apology.

Great info on the claws! I guess people were expecting another boring slayer piñata, but I'm so happy to for the first time have a regular monster that actually has some interesting mechanics and is a bit more engaging to fight! Once they figure out some of the small bugs, it will be really nice. Rewarding good timing and switching of gear and prayers is just fun, I think they nailed it.
I'd love for them to consider taking glacors or ripper demons as well, some more demi-boss enemies with good slayer XP and loot would be very welcome
It's frustrating to me how little quality assurance Jagex does. Four new weapons and three of them are in a bugged, unusable state. Zero testing done whatsoever on these. What are they even doing over there?
Aaaand that's one of the reasons they shouldn't be releasing new content at a ridiculously fast rate like they've been doing lately (the other one being the game is turning into RS3 v2).

Dw about irons having to "grind out two" of them. Realistically, if they dropped as a complete set, it would've been double the drop rate. Just like how a venator bow would've been a 1/500 instead of 5x1/100 for venator shards. They were most likely designed to dropped as multiple for the sake of cloggers and irons (2 small drops has lower variance than 1 big drop).

I think the bow was hotfixed this morning? I'm getting 53 max hit (off task, not only for the big bonk attack either), same as on poh dummy. Emberlight gives same max on dummy vs TDs as well so I assume this means it's fixed?

you mention worrying about arclight charges, but I was under the assumption that the newest changes will infuse the arclight over time, instead of simply needing 10k charges.
You still need 10k charges. Infusion only useful if you dont have all 10k charges at once.
@@kingderk Ok, so does that mean (for example) that someone could have 10% infusion and 9k charges to create ember light? Or do you need either 10k charges or 100% infusion to upgrade?
My understanding is an "infused" arclight can be used to make the ember light even if uncharged but still uses charges (because normally ember light requires a fully charged arclight). It's still confusing to me correct me if I'm wrong

Purging Staff is not 20% lower max hit at TDs, it is a bit less than 10% i.e. I'm supposed to max 70, maxing 65 instead. Its accuracy however is probably 20% bugged, same at demonic gorillas.
Yep misspoke, I'm pretty sure it's reducing only the damage increase from mark of darkness, since that would explain the 5 max loss. Unfortunately even that's enough to make it really bad

I think it's worth mentioning SGS has a crush option, and fulfills the need to bring obby maul/dh axe for punishing as well. Also, these guys are NOT immune to venom, which is another reason blowpipe feels so great here.
I was doing that initially but its 6t not 7 and really abby dagger is so good as a spec that I think it isn't a great option

Just started here as iron. If you have bp it's really nice here for getting hp back once you get your 100% accuracy. Bad DPS obviously, but with venom probably worth bringing anyways and use as a heal when you need it. Then a different DPS spec when you don't.
Aaty is an amazingly skilled player to the point that he has no idea what the average or even above average players want. Lots of bad takes coming from him over the last couple years.

At my skill level I am missing far too many flicks to be even remotely close to singles kills/hr. Not to mention how much more effort killing multiples is
There's no way in hell more than a few % of players at most will ever be killing multiples for extended periods of time. It's just too difficult to be worth it.
@@SootyPhoenix Yea. I have been doing it just to learning prayer switching. I have killed ~800 TDs and haven't seen anyone doing multiples other than for the CAs

for the triple CA, would it not be easier to whittle them down one at a time? as in you 1v1 the first demon until target hp, then 1v2 the second, before getting the third on you or does this negate the CA?
Gnomonkey vs Aaty is a drama I never thought I'd see, disappointing as you two specifically have helped a large portion of the community get into higher level content, inferno teaching, tob learners, nex learners etc. Hope a line can be drawn in the sand for the betterment of the community.

He was claiming the claws are absolutely awful everywhere and that Gnome is only hyping them up and saying they're good because he must be merching them. He's also spent the past few days on stream slandering Gnome and insulting him at every opportunity. Then earlier today Aaty released a video basically saying "nvm they're actually good" without any kind of apology or anything to Gnome for any of the hateful shit he has said over the past few days.

Great vid ty! Also I was doing some calcs and I believe the obby maul berserker necklace is hitting more than it should be. I’ve never hit below a 39 while using it (which is 33 bonus damage + 20% from necklace) and I’ve hit more than theoretical max hit. In my setup that’s 101 but I’ve hit a 102 so far. Would you be able to test this further? (I believe this happens in the vid at 2:22 as well)
About the claws being bis at vard vorkath and cerb if fixed, would them still be bis if youre not triple speccing and stacking the burn every kill? For multiple kc trips

When the tormented demon does their special, sometimes the tile under me will turn red, and other times it doesn't. Is there a reason for this? It's been messing me up expecting the special attacks

If you want to overcomplicate it for a few shots you can do acb. But the blowpipe is plenty fine
SGS is probably the play for irons, they really don't want to use BF charges here.
Why did everyone skip the whip? It's better DPS then the dagger, dagger has a shit spec so it's not even worth it over the whip.
Dagger isnt for using as a main-hand. Its for specing for 90+ dmg. It's very worth it. 100% accuracy 90+ dmg, and low spec cost. Whip is worse than Arclight/Bludgeon etc

Hey gnome, how come you have been using mark of darkness when doing kills with ranged and melee, which don't benefit from the mark of darkness?
Oh I see, your hitting them with mage over the transition so they pray mage and you can keep hitting them with the emberlight. Is this worth it if you have the scorching bow? how about if your using a bp?

Gear scape is currently saying blowpipe is worse than shadow at TDs, but is that because the accuracy is set to 46%? Doesnt actually seem to be up to date to me

I'm a bit confused - say the loadout is Arclight, Abby Dagger, Dharok's, and Blowpipe.
Would it then be:
- Dharok's big hit (Roar)
- Arclight or Blowpipe until Accuracy Phase
- Dagger spec if ready / Blowpipe until fireball?
- Repeat until dead
I'm guessing I also need a full range switch for blowpipe when it's off accuracy phase? Or do I bring Crystal + Bowfa in that case?
@@PatientAsian You want blowpipe max hits so masori would be better (even the unfortified variant) but you could crossbow untill you reach 100% accuracy
