No Paul you should ABSOLUTELY be talking about & working through & healing through this NOW because it WILL eventually come to the surface, and it’s obviously far less ideal & maybe even bad, if it surfaces during labor/birth/immediately postpartum when you’re REALLY needed. You know? So do your best to deal with it & talk about it & get it all to come to the surface now. So you can be more healed & whole and present & emotionally available when the time comes.
Much love y’all ❤ and I pray for the smooth birth experience that yall want if it’s God’s will. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🤍🤍🤍

I know several woman who had successful v-bacs. I was one that had only one birth that was extremely traumatic, like Morgan’s. My hubby was told to leave the operating room bc I was dying and our daughter was not breathing. The Lord is good. Baby and I were both fine eventually. So I understand why Paul may be reluctant to talk about it. It’s still difficult for my husband to talk about it and it happened to us 22 years ago! Praying for a safe and healthy delivery of baby and mom and peace for you and Paul.

What I’ve learned is that worrying won’t change the outcome it will only add more stress to an already stressful situation. Always take your worries to the Lord and lay them down at His feet because that is a burden not meant for us to carry. Remember what the Bible says be anxious for nothing!

I totally agree with Paul about listening to your wife. That was spot on. A marriage is 50/50 we all have things, men and women, that God has called us to do. Men are called to love their wives as Christ loves the church and women are called to be a helper and to submit to their husband. There is no room for dominance in marriage, only teamwork and love.

I almost had an emergency c section with my first child, but ended up having a natural birth. I am currently 5 months pregnant, i was told that most likely i will be able to have a natural birth again due to my first one. I am not close to the idea of having a c section if things go wrong, and i am unable to have a natural birth. I think Morgan should play it safe and not have a natural birth.

hi Paul! I've been watching you two for about 3 years. I had a traumatic first birth ending in c section. my water broke in the middle of the night without labor. my hubby said Your water broke?!? and he really seemed to not grasp the reality all the way til baby was born. pray. it's the only way to get that your lovely wife is going to need you more than ever. love you both! blessings and prayers to cover you all

As a 24 weeks pregnant mama I very much enjoyed this livestream. You guys are very entertaining 😅
I think you need to pin your date drink recipes for us. I've always drank mine in a smoothie with milk, banana, and a couple Tbs each of PB2 and cocoa powder with ice because I need it cold!
My mom had 9 kids and she always said she hated being pregnant. She loved her kids but did not enjoy the pregnancy part and here I am expecting my 4th and I've very much felt the same way. I do think we need to try to have a thankful heart or we can get caught up in the negative mindset sometimes, but pregnancy is not easy and I think it's fine to talk about those things too. No one should feel like just because they struggled with infertility, that they can't ever talk about the hard in motherhood and pregnancy. Every stage of life has its challenges.

Morgan, if you soak your dates in hot water, they blend really well for smoothies. I literally hate the chunks 😂
I have been taking like 3-4 days worth soak overnight in hot water and make a paste blending just the water and dates. (Can keep in fridge after blending) Seperate the servings out evenly so you get your 6 a day.
It literally tastes like caramel like that! So much easier to eat LOL and easier to throw in a drink.
I whipped that paste and cream cheese a few times, literally like a mini cheesecake so good!

My 3rd was my easiest labor, a few days overdue but literally 4 hours from first contraction to birth (planned hospital). My 4th was 2 weeks early, successful homebirth! I just write that bc I was always looking for other women’s stories so I could try to figure out when my baby would come 🤪❤️ but just to encourage you that my second was about 15 hours and a successful VBAC, much better than the first❤️🙏

Trust in the Lord… we know he works all things out for the good of those who love him. I had a csection first and learned to lean into God soo much in my second pregnancy and went on to have a 24h long homebirth vbac. God told me at the end I don’t need to know everything when I know the creator of the universe and He knows everything and that gave me so much peace towards the end of the pregnancy because I never labored at all with my first baby so I was really nervous about labor but God sent me the most wonderful midwife and husband who supported me through every contraction ❤you got this Morgan!!! @@kellyhalteman3014 First, I’m really sorry you’re experiencing infertility, that’s got to be so hard. And I get why it could probably be frustrating hearing people complain about being pregnant when it’s the one thing you desire but haven’t had yet. I don’t want to minimize that at all, but I am currently in my third pregnancy, and all of my pregnancies and labors have been by far the hardest things I’ve ever done. It’s a lot of suffering (for me at least, everyone’s pregnancies are different) and it’s a huge sacrifice I make for my babies. I am very very grateful to be pregnant and I don’t take it for granted, but it’s still a horrible experience being pregnant. It’s a kind of thing you can’t even comprehend until you’re experiencing it. I think it’s healthy to be able to talk and be real about our suffering, even if it’s for a beautiful reason.
Also I have heard of many women who had struggled with infertility for a long time (Morgan being one!) who have had very bad pregnancy and/or labor experiences. And them fully appreciating what a miracle their pregnancy is doesn’t make their experiences any less traumatic or hard for them.
The most disheartening thing when I have been in a lot of pain during pregnancy is having someone completely ignore my struggle and just remind me to be thankful I’m even pregnant instead. Pregnant women need support too, it’s not helpful to minimize their pain just bc they should be grateful!

It's normal I think for men to not think much about it. I was the same way and there was no trauma, I was just working or doing stuff around the house up until the last possible moment. Hard to anticipate when there isn't a set schedule, baby will come when baby comes. We never had a 'baby room" and never found out the gender on any of our 3 beforehand, so to me it just didn't seem too real until active labor. There's not a lot men can do other than support their wife.

Hi Morgan! The woman that said you shouldn’t have a VBAC is a medwife not a midwife. Medwives tend to be less traditional and are trained in industrial medical birth and work within the hospital paradigm. Traditional OG midwifes are typically sovereign providers, because the state does not fund authentic midwifery.
