It’s so true these are so inexpensive that you can buy a few and go off on a collection I heat anodized my first one bronze with steel Hardware it looks decent I have 3 of same kind so I will prob heat an darker colors now I wanna pick up other scales like yours. Zach Stuff got me into modding bugouts we were talking a while back about the jade bugout project and I saw it the other day and it’s awesome I wasn’t sure what hardware he was going to go with he went black and I don’t think it could gotten any better it’s awesome bugout if you haven’t seen it yet. I have 3 of those with rogue scale and flytanium scales Cf TI micarta bugout are more expensive as we know then buying scales it get really expensive especially flytanium TI looks exactly like Metal Complexes but he went ti and all steel I went black hardware it’s just fun to do rather then to spend a lot of money on a knife all done and risk screwing up a high end knife so these knives and bugouts Arendt that expensive then I take my dremel and add sharpening Choil finger Choils cut out to get to liner and lock bars cuz some g10 scales are too smooth so I create grip and I’ve gotten good on adding gimping actually.but I bought a bunch of non logo copies I mean a lot like 15 lmao along time ago that I practice on But the grenade pattern bro looks bad ass I’m sorry u don’t have that one I will keep an eye out for it I have enough of those modding and sharpening is fun and actually therapeutic to me. One day I will get then uploaded I’m just practicing so I don’t get beat up by people and think they look like shit. You inspired me like Zach did now thanks for sharing your collection peace brother

Of the ones you showed I like the newest version the best. Probably because of the Jade G10 since nothing I own has Jade G10 scales. Interesting 5th pocket backup to a backup knife.

After watching your vid, I just might pick up a Squid. Ordered a Gust from Boker and it fills about the same spot in my pocket, but I get your collecting Squids. After your vid is over, I'll check my on-line dealer for his Squids. 👍
@@JTsKnifeLife :- It is currently in the mail. But I have a CRKT Pilar in one of my pockets right now, and I really like that little knife...more weight and confidence than one would expect in that size of a knife. Probably the same as you feel with the Squid.
The Gust came in...I love it. It is heavy for a smallish knife, but that was expected, and boy does it feel solid! Absolutely stone cold sturdy, makes you want to try it out in an extreme situation. If the Delica is your go to pocket knife, then the Gust is not for you, but if you tend to Medford style knives...then the Gust is perfect. The pivot pin came tightened down, but a turn with a hex bit and everything is A OK.
It's one of the best starter knife options out there. Inexpensive, durable, well built, and good looking. My wife's primary knife that she always has on her.

They keep on releasing more and more variants, but bottom line is it's just a really good knife no matter which one you get. Hope you enjoy yours!
Apart from a SAK this was my first good EDC knife, gunmetal finish. Kinda made me want some more pocket knives. It has a special place in my heart.
