Please talk about Ivory. She got her start in G.L.O.W.
What was it like working with Ivory, any stories
I loved Ivory, she was such a good performer.
Stevie Richards became the biggest heel in wrestling the night he covered up Terri Runnels.
I can genuinely remember ALL of Stevie Richard’s spots and moments haha from RTC to his time with Jazz to his time with Victoria!! Dude guided the Triple Threat Match in such a commanding way having Jazz thrown out pulling Jazz’s leg Trish even calling for help from Stevie when Jazz was about to make her tap hahaha that was awesome and then quickly guiding Victoria to climb the top top only for Trish to take her down and alas the chair shot and Stratusfaction I think that’s the first time Trish posed with it haha oooh! I remember Jeff and Stevie getting in the mix in another ocassion and Victoria and Trish back body dropped him and did a Stratusfaction off of Stevie who was tied in the ropes haha man he’s awesome
Stevie has got a fantastic mind for the business. Massively underrated and given the right circumstances, could have been a top guy.
Stevie and Dutch have done so much for women's wrestling. They should both be in every wrestling hall of fame for their contributions.
Dustin Rhodes too
Love how it's always '[insert mans' name] has done so much for womens' wrestling' and never '[womans' name]'.
@@pendafen7405 The wrestlers themselves?
Fine, I'll list some here and I'm sure the OP will have no problem with that (unlike you who seems to want to pluck them out of thin air)
Gail Kim, as a worker and still to today's date.
Sara Del Ray helped a great deal in legitimising North American women's wrestling to an audience that wasn't the most supportive of it.
Trish Stratus through her stellar performances with more experienced workers plus her charisma and ability to speak as well as she did in front of the audiences.
MOOLAH (I know) also booked for the women back in the day. She could also be seen as one of the biggest detriments simultaneously.
Feel free to add.
@@ButWhatIfItIs good, better, you're right. See, is that so hard?
Sorry but Stevie/Steven doesn’t deserve to be a Hall of Famer in wwe because majority of his career was to be a glorified jobber. His only remembered run will always goin to be BWO.
Jacqueline, Luna Vachon, Ivory, Jazz, Tori, are my personal favourite female wrestlers
Terri Runnels was a manager, but she took some great bumps
He was GREAT in RTC….underrated!!!
the testicular claw. 😂
Stevie is crazy legit. True philly guy. Soo on point. N not selfish in ring and to fans. Hes the man!!
They glossed over Jazz so fast...
@V1HAMMER
2001-2004
Long enough.
Man, I love Stevie. He’s done so much for wrestling, women too, and is criminally underrated. He’s also so well-spoken, I could probably listen to him read from an outdated phone book and be entertained. I love the subverting of the stereotypical valet roles too, great idea!
Stevie definitely did it better than marc mero
Ivory was awesome, her hotness is super underrated
It doesn't bother me if it's a manager or some other wrestling personality that's not an actual wrestler. When an able bodied male wrestler puts over a female though, it makes it impossible to suspend my belief and therefore doesn't work, at least for me. Not a whole lot different than Mae Young birthing a hand IMO.
I’m going to be honest I always liked Stevie, but man I’ve been highly impressed with his work on UA-cam. But if I would ask a question how did Stevie feel about being hardcore champion, the hardcore title being retired, and not winning another title in wwe?
I never really understood him back when I watched. Listening to his content, my respect for him has increased dramatically.
Victoria and Gail Kim is my favorite female superstars of all time and they are underappreciated to this day.
Victoria was such a babe.
Did he mention Ivory?!?
Glad to hear Gail put in there. I have met her on a couple of occasions. #1 she may be the sweetest person walking the planet. #2 she may be petite, but damn she was jacked. She doesn't have the "body builder" muscles, but she definitely had the thick muscular look.
Stevie just seems like such a cool ass dude.
How about Lita?
Some guys can put women over and it not kill their career, Mark Mero wasn't one of those people.
😂
ask him about wrestling scott steiner and test
James is definitely the only cute wrestling podcaster not named Denise & DS 😅
Not a Jeff Jarrett fan but him losing to Chyna was stupid (RIP Chyna)
I think he demanded like 400k to do that job though
A man booked that. A man got paid well. Don't make this the fault of a woman (a dead, traumatised one no less)
I'd have agreed with you if Jeffnlostbstaus as a result. He didn't so yeah
It was Jeff Jarrett. Who GAF
Not really, it was a match were weapons were used, Chyna did great, and in real life she was a mixed martial artist.
Stevie doing the job for women helped kill his career.
I never thought I would miss Shane Douglas so much. (Edit: due to this being so crappy)
with Shane's knowledge I'm sure he will be back when his schedule allows.
@@SteveC23 I mean because I don’t like this.
Shane cuts a great promo! I love the efffff word brooooo
Medusa could.
Yea she had the build and height
Bill Alfonso and Steve Richards were comical ring workers. They could both maybe win fights but in ring theyre funny workers. Women getting hit by serious male workers is not pleasant content and while possibly sexist, much of audience very impressionable, hoping it's all shoot.
Fk that. I still regarded Stevie, Santino as legends for the things they did to help the industry..Yeah they made have been presented as " jesters " at time but they did their jobs and entertain folks.
Saxon = joke account
Stevie was bad
He left out Lita????? Wow...
Left out Beth Phoenix when talking about women who could have believable intergender match.
@@JDGansGaming this is true, but I'm thinking more of his time in the 1997-2001 era of the Attitude Era. The rest they mention mostly were during that time
7:25 Beth Phoenix, Natalya
Stevie might honestly think that he did Victoria a great service with this, but it still didn’t move him up the card.
He ultimately worked himself by trying to justify this.
I don't think it was meant to move him up the card nor was that his purpose. It was meant to put someone over which is what he's about because he's not a selfish man
i think you missed the point man..he didnt do it for himself, and while it didnt move him up the card, it did give him career longevity..how many ECW guys had lasting careers in wwe? or led their own faction? Right to Censor was pretty huge and a great idea for the time, mocking the incoming pg era while utilizing the formerly most vulgar characters to do it
@@JungleCrook "mocking the incoming pg era"
wtf are you talking about
@@kamiloalvarez5800 it was during a period where a lot of things were starting to get censored, you couldnt get color anymore, stuff like that
Also a bit....hmmmm, offensive? To suggest that Victoria needed a man or owes her success to one.
First
What do you want, a medal?
What credibility?
The OG feminist 👍
