Love this build! Started my first necro this season and I have been using bone spear/bone spirit and it just wasn’t working at my low level. This for whatever reason just clicked and I instantly turned on tier 4 because I am not worried anymore. I only have about half the stuff spaced and it hits! Thank you

I agree, Sever def underrated. I have never completed the WT3 capstone so easy as a level 58. First try, 5 second kill. Cant wait to build this out properly.

I've been saying since launch that Sever is top tier, opposed to the over played bone spear builds. Want some additional flavor in your build? Run Blood Wave as a darkness skill, insane damage potential.

I definitely want to see more fun builds for necro that can hang with the dmg potential of other classes. Bonespear feels kinda boring to me I’ve been trying to stick with it but I was honestly going to give up on necro till I saw this video

I didn’t know there was a unique to auto cast the corpse skills!!! I love necro but bonespear felt kinda clunky and I play on console so the corpse skill activation makes me either lose out on dmg because I’m not activating things as much or feeling like I have to do a lot at once. I’m so glad I found this video!!

Playing this with lidless, it claps even in st. Getting a couple of lucky hit rolls really helps with the procs. Can't find a decent 2h for bossing sadly. While leveling I was using Bloodless scream/Figid support which was a lot of fun.

sever is just a worse version of bone spirit though right?
only advantage i can see is that its themed around throwing scythes instead of bones

Sever is must faster in nm100 and against ubers compared to bone spirit. The main competition for top spot is between bone spear and sever. I would say sever is better for nm100 and bone spear is better for ubers, but they are honestly close.

bone spirit 1shots every ubers in 1p and does NM100 much faster than servers in your vid. tbh this is slower than my spirit nec in 4p games.

@@Goblin-Inc Like your guides. Looking for something for uber farm. How big is the difference? Bone spear would outperform sever by alot? Or to be precise: if Sever kills malphas in 10 seconds, and spear in 2, I would go for sever. But if its a difference of 2min vs 2sec then there is no discussion...
Another question, what about S3 pet ? Barbs scale its damage to some ridiculous numbers (bilions)

How is this holding up in season 4? I ran across the mobalytics post, but I couldn't tell if it would still be A tier in season 4. Also the Mobalytics post is missing the Chest information for the Mid-Game and Leveling Gear.

Ive been playing a similar build since the patch and it has been doing great. Sever hits like a truck, and as long as bonestorm is active I have zero issues with survivability in T95+, but if it ever falls off for whatever reason I mine as well go and grab a snack.
Two questions:
What do you think about the skill point node adjustments in 1.3.3? Is the added damage via crippling darkness worth it now?
Are you trying to fit in metamorphosis?

I followed this build, but it wasn’t hitting hard enough for me.. I changed the paragon board to an overpower board and I can kill everything now🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

I am running a similar Sever build with a wand and Lidless Wall (and no ubers). I have blighted aspect on amulet, grasping veins in gloves, and ultimate shadow on wand. Boots are Empty Tomb instead of flickerstep (for the darkness lucky hit and desecrated ground that goes well with the desecration glyph). Also using Sacriligous ring and X'Fal's. I don't have the unique robot powers yet. :(

Lmao! I got a baby necro I’m still leveling (only 60) and I’m watching this video thinking “man, I gotta get me that sacrilegious ring”, and literally the first random trash mob enemy I kill drops it 😆

Its always some random mob or loot goblin that drops good shit. So far im lvl 40 and encountered loot goblin 3 or 4 times. Every time the bastard dropped some incredible power spike. Blood wave shadow 4000 dmg over 4 seconds. Although its kinda meh without cooldown reductions or decrepify. Probably just gonna go full summoning to beat campaign and uninstall.

With the flickerstep i still dont Evade through mobs. Shame as this would’ve made the build truly OP!

its no surprise because pet gives u now barrier and stack dmg and make alot dmg too. necro defense is ugly without it is naked class. dmg wasnt problem.

X'fal's is probably technically okay in this build but were looking for insane speed, which requires consistency. Its far better to run things that buff sever than it is to run X'Fal's, especially with the lucky hit nerf on corpse explosion, since sever's damage is so reliable

I think blood mist is a bad skill. I dont run it in any builds really anymore. It slows you, you cant do damage while inside of it, and its extremely slow for breaking cc

You're either lying or does not have proper knowledge. Bone Spirit 1shots uber lilith and duriel, mostly 1shots everything you meet in T100 4p. Damage numbers up to 40~60M without elixir. T100 Butcher sub 10 seconds, T100 4p sub4min. Now show me sever do the same thing please. Imo sever can't even touch the feet of bone spirit now.@@Goblin-Inc
