Not sure this really is a derby; the connectivity data between the two towns historically Cheshire (Stockport) and Lancashire (Bolton) is negligible, and they are about 25 miles apart. Also historically, the Trotters have been one of Lancashire’s successful higher league teams, whilst County have been part of Cheshire’s dismal record of its four traditional League teams never having made it to the top tier. 1974 and GM means very little to supporters of either team.
@@NamlivE4U Bolton have proper historic derbies of varying intensity with a number of nearby Lancashire clubs; Stockport County are not really included in that firstly being in the wrong county (‘County’ = historic county borough of Cheshire), and secondly because they don’t really have a proper derby at all apart from perhaps Crewe. Whilst County were in the Championship 1997-2002, fleetingly Man City could probably have been called a derby being only about 10 miles apart as opposed to 25 miles to Bolton.
One is a Premier League team.
The other is Bolton Wanderers.
Lose by 5 on Tuesday, win by 5 on Saturday. Don't think I've ever seen that before.
Its never happened lol
What a result! And what a response from the game against Wycombe! Wrexham beware!! 💙🤍
Barry🔥🔥🙌
Its quite obvious that without Dempsey or Thomasson, we have no fight.
You could have had makepiece on with dempsey, wouldn't have made any difference when County are in this mood😂
Bolton manager needs to go we need to start looking for a new manager for January. 🤔.

yeah it’s nowhere near a derby they’re just saying it because bolton is sort of local to stockport 😂
IT'S A DERBY, DEAL WITH IT!!!
