It's the end of an era, but firing Victor and Chet was the right decision, as Victor is now clearly inconsistent (he's FD most of the time) and Chet is now struggling a lot with the environment, meta comps and counter measures. Demon1 was never a serious issue, so promoting him back to the starting lineup is good.
Demon1 was definitely an issue then, even he said his mental was not good hence why he was benched not dropped. Hope he's back cause nrg is on its last leg

Double agree. Dryad has done really good coverage this season. Also the 100T players literally did the most obvious downplayed explanations of the "vibes being off" during conversations "happening right before matches" at Shanghai. Boostio can mald all he wants but he is at LEAST partially responsible as the self proclaimed emotional leader of his team, and having some incredible emotional blunders this season already. Dryad didn't say anything that someone who watches VCT Americas interviews hasn't seen already, and was even excessively clear that she was just speculating. The Chet buyout shit too is just nuts. You can't win without spending money as an ORG on the players. If a coach has to dig deep for franchised orgs to survive a season in terms of publicity and engagement, the entire pro Valorant scene does not deserve to exist imo.

In NRG that was not the case, demon1 was forced to entry site and take space, when it wasn't his role in EG, and that made him less impactful bcuz obviously he would die faster and would'nt make that mid-round difference. with his comeback in the team and the new roster, i would see potentially Som and Ethan help Demon1 with the first duels, letting him the opportunity to stay alive, maybe put demon1 on another role like in EG where he would often play controler (kinda hard with Som being excellent at that job) i hope that NRG are signing a top coach like potter to help FNS with the strategies and the protocols.
and crashies staying honestly i don't see the problem with it, he is good at his role, doesn't overcook the rounds whereas victor would always go beyond what they were supposed to do, they should work on their fundamentals and it'll be allright

they forced demon1 to play a different playstyle then what made him the star player last year and when he wasnt doing the same thing as he was last year they benched him. just terrible coaching decisions and terrible analysis. Demon1 was more of a lurker when he was champion and obviously he did well. NRG just sent him in to die instead of playing around his strengths

So, 100T will NEED to get top 3 in playoffs to qualify. This will mean beating G2 or playing the loser of the other match, which could be LEV, KRU, or C9. (One of KRU/C9 will be eliminated in the first round.) HOWEVER, If they LOSE to SEN, they will still have their champs points and will then rely on LEV and SEN to make top 3 in playoffs. We're not beating SEN 100% but LEV, SEN, G2 need to be top 3 for 100t to qualify. Thats the problem, too much "if/ but/ maybe".

they forced demon1 to play a different playstyle then what made him the star player last year and when he wasnt doing the same thing as he was last year they benched him. just terrible coaching decisions and terrible analysis. Demon1 was more of a lurker when he was champion and obviously he did well. NRG just sent him in to die instead of playing around his strengths

If they BEAT SEN, they will no longer have their champs points as a backup for 4th seed since SEN will likely take this spot (They have 12 points and the h2h over 100T). So, 100T will NEED to get top 3 in playoffs to qualify. This will mean beating G2 or playing the loser of the other match, which could be LEV, KRU, or C9. (One of KRU/C9 will be eliminated in the first round.)
HOWEVER,
If they LOSE to SEN, they will still have their champs points and will then rely on LEV and SEN to make top 3 in playoffs.
We're not beating SEN 100% but LEV, SEN, G2 need to be top 3 for 100t to qualify. Thats the problem, too much "if/ but/ maybe".
