Alex Filsinger, McLaren Artura GT4 Daytona

This is an early "fast" lap from the first session I had at Daytona where the car was functioning correctly. We fought electrical gremlins and wasted the entire roar weekend, and practice 1 of the race weekend. This was a new car and essentially a new track to me at this point. I found even more pace during the race, video coming soon. Plenty of opportunity in turn 1. Ignore the binary throttle indicator - the vbox scene was broken.

Awesome lap, go 69! Why does it sound like that in 6th gear? Wind or car noise?

That is wind buffeting with the tiny sliding window in the driver's door, it starts around 225kph in 5th gear.
