My position on this war is that there are many sides. There is Israel by itself who is just striking back at terrorist forces that want to exterminate them. Then there are the brainwashed Jew-hating terrorists who destroy everyone they don’t like. Then there are the patsies of those terrorists being used as propaganda against Israel. Then there are the crazy far left rioters screaming false information and trying to get everyone to be against Israel. And then there are the Christians who don’t give a damn about Palestine but live in those territories because that’s where they want to be, and Israel accidentally strikes them while the terrorists intentionally do. Then there are the crazy globalists who want to bring up these false genocide charges against Israel, making all of the globalists opposed to Israel.
I still support Israel, while still supporting our brothers of the faith who are caught in the middle of the conflict. The left doesn’t truly support Israel. I think everyone should know that. Muslims don’t really care about Christians, they just want to go about social media recruiting new anti-Israel protest-janissaries.

Choose how you want to live, but I would say refrain from directly claiming anybody’s wrong, because you can’t prove it. You can say you can prove it, but that’s just a belief. Someone would say what were the chances that the sun, the moon and the Earth would align so perfectly in distance and size, you could have something like a solar eclipse take place that’s not close to perfect but 100% perfect. As we witnessed yesterday, the moon fits directly in front of the sun perfectly. Now some would say it’s chance, others might say it’s the stars and astrology while others will say it’s intelligent design. It’s like the argument for bass reality. Prove that we exist in base reality. We can’t. What we do as humans with souls, and at the very least freedom to think as we wish we follow evidence. Evidence may lead you to one place and need to somewhere else, but neither of us should be calling the other wrong, we are confident in our personal beliefs. As we see the evidence, it supports what we believe is accurate.

I’m fairly conservative and used to support Israel completely until I watched a documentary about the settlers. That made me look further into the whole thing and it’s really terrible what they’ve done to the Palestinians.
Thank you for being open minded and were open learning about these horrible realities. Sadly most big news outlets lie and purposely twist words and leave out a bunch of things cause they get funded by organizations like AIPAC.

We've respectfully discussed theology and politics, each conversation leaving us more informed and appreciative of each other's beliefs. To be honest, I have never really thought about Christians in the Middle East, only because you never really hear about them. What struck me the most is when he said being the chosen people is not about being entitled, but about responsibility. He is 100% correct.
The best thing he said was on 35 minutes where he explains that it was not about the state it was about people who are spiritual not political this shows how westerners know about their own religion and that's why they take everything granted.

My 4 grandparents were born in Bethlehem and migrated to Chile as many other Palestinians Christians did. Although I have never been to Israel or Palestine many of my cousins have. Thanks to the Bethlehem church copious records, I can trace all my ancestors all the way back to the 1600s on my father's side and 1700s on my mother's side. My 23andme shows 100% from Levant with Greater Bethlehem as the most likely area. I hope to one day be able to visit and personally see the land where Jesus and my ancestors were born, and not just see it through my cousin's photos. I also hope that at that point the people living on the land will be fully free, regardless of their religion.
Doesn't seem realistic to me. Either it's a racist Jewish ethnostate or an Islamist state with no room for Christians or Jews. I don't care for either but at least Israel isn't an enemy to the West.
