Chris de Burgh, you have inspired me in so many ways, im not a musician, simply a working man with a small family that has been exposed to your music since I was very very young, I am now 39. One of my all time desires in life is to meet you, hopefully one day. All the very best to you, keep going strong and keep making great music. ....goodnight
I so bless the day when you came into my life chris i bless it all the way to heaven when you stole my heart at 12 yrs old ive been in love with you ever since and i will continue to for all eternity
This is incredible!! my relatives came from Ireland, and settled in Liverpool with the intention of going onward to America, but they ran out of money. Fast forward to me and I finally made the move over to America. I can’t help but watch this filled with emotion.
The album is a return to earlier form for Chris De Burgh. It's pace is consistent and never lacking with beautiful lyrics, melodies and instrumentation.
One of many wonderful songs from Chris de Burgh’s new album “The Hands of Man” Considered one of the best albums of 2014 by World United Music Have a listen to “Big City Sundays” (Official Video) Added to the Best of 2014 Soft Rock / Folk playlists
This is a great track from Chris De Burgh. His new album has been a long time in coming. I have been a fan since the eighties and have all of his studio albums, many compilations and a large number of singles. For the last few albums Chris has put music to a book and visited songs from his past. I enjoyed them all, but longed for some new songs to match the ones from his previous albums that I cherish so much. "The Hands of Man" seems to be very much a reflection on a life from a man who has had a full and busy life, experienced a changing world with the twists and turns that each of us could in some way relate to. The album is great, but as on any album there are stand out tracks. For me "Where would I be ", "Through These Eyes" and especially "Empty Rooms" all move me to tears. I know that others who are fans will know exactly what I am talking about, will know why lyrically as well as musically we keep listening to the work of a fantastic artist. I am so happy to have been able to enjoy the music and the poetry for all of my adult life.
Blessed be your music and your family and your band blessed be your music xo

Few artists can capture such emotion in songs as Chris de Burgh. Outstanding track off of his 2014 release.
