I like this equipment. Rather simple and effective.

Absolute brilliant at Crawley High Street level crossing in West Sussex.
Thanks.
Great video and crossing 👍
Thanks.
That is yet ANOTHER new Yodalarm.
Nice alarm! Lovely crossing & signal box. Is the signal box still in use? It looks well kept. Fab long trains nice catches ❤😊👍
Unfortunately not, it closed in 1986 when this crossing became monitored via CCTV. However, it is still maintained by Crawley Signal Box Preservation Society, and has a few open days throughout the year.
Excellent Videos! Them alarms almost sound like Leominster
Thanks!
Arun valley train. Why they drop the barriers before the train even arrives in the station - I’ve no idea. Bonkers.
Its probably convenient for the signallers to lower these crossings one or two minutes in advance than watching the till the trains enter the station. Although, not very convenient for those waiting to cross.
How does the alarm stop after the 3rd and 4th barriers descend?
The position of the barrier arms is detected, when all barriers are detected down the control circuitry switches off the alarms.
