It always looks so good, but the curry looks super yummy ♥️ I love making chili, or Japanese cream stew in the winter, while my husband enjoys making potato soup.

on the topic of soup, i recently made doenjang soup. it was delicious! saute cubed potato and onion in a soup pot for a little bit and then add water and dissolve in doenjang. doenjang tastes much stronger and more savory than miso. i like to also add a little gochujang to make it a little spicy. simmer until it’s ready. you can also add tofu, egg, or veggies like daikon, cucumber, mushrooms, green onion, and garlic, or seafood like shrimp and clams. very easy and versatile.
Doenjang soup sounds so yummy! Adding various ingredients would be good for health!! That is the first I've heard of doenjang, but I'll look for it in larger supermarkets! Thank you for sharing your wonderful recipe, Daniel!! Happy Holidays!!

Ahh, more meal prep ideas! I'm so grateful for them; even if I can't fully replicate them myself I've found that I can substitute things for more easily available alternatives. Oh, I made the sweet potato rice you showed the other week! It turned out to be some of the best rice I'd ever cooked 😃Usually my rice ends up too soggy or too hard (can never get the amount of water right) but somehow I added the perfect amount and everything was perfectly cooked. I made way too much though and ended up having to have it four days in a row 😅

My favorite soup to make is a lentil and ground beef soup. The recipe does call for a blender (or stick blender), though, so I currently can't make it the way I want to. My blender died on me due to the stress of blending ice cubes when I made smoothies 😅. But I began making lentil soup because lentils have iron and I have an iron deficiency (I bought iron tablets to take, but I hate the taste of iron in my mouth, like if I burp, lol. Also, it's best to take it the same time every day and with food, but I'm not always hungry the same time every day. So, I would rather try to find foods that have iron instead).
I don't know how to make a lot of soups so I'm very proud of myself for learning how to make that one 😊.
And thank you again for such a relaxing video! These come out late at night here in the United States, but because I don't work on weekends, I can enjoy them as I relax. Your Christmas bentos are too adorable! I'm also loving the saga of your tempermental tamagoyaki pan 😂

Another fantastic and festive bento! Soup is so yummy to eat during the colder months and it'll definitely keep you warm. My favorite to make during the season is potato and leek soup! What I also add to it is chopped bacon that I brown in the pot I use to make the soup, take it out once it's crispy, and then add it as a topping because bacon is good (♥ω♥*). Can't wait to see what else you'll make!

I like to add a spice mix called "garam masala" to my butter chicken, it gives a beautiful authentic spice flavour to the curry! So delicious! Sometimes I make it with coconut milk instead of heavy cream (maybe it's not traditional but I like the flavour!). This week was so colourful. I loved all of the recipes!
